"Corona D'Oro is a wonderful hotel right in the middle of things! The lobby, with an expansive, skylight, is lovely! The room was comfortable with plenty of closet / drawer space. The restaurant is full service for all meals, and the bar is fun and raucous! Concierge service by Maria Rita is unsurpassable. She is truly a delight and an excellent ambassador for Corona D'Oro!"

"This hotel is in a great location. You can easily walk to many museums and stores. It is quite near a major shopping center. The restaurants right next to the hotel are excellent. Each room in the hotel is painted with a mural depicting some aspect of the history of Bologna. The breakfast, which is included, was wonderful-fruits, yogurt, eggs, and countless pastries."

"It is across the street from the train station which was great for us as that is how we are traveling. However the hotel is still in winter mode which means the AC system is not working. We needed to open windows which made for a very noisy, warm night. Other than that, it was a good place to stay. "

"Staff is great, hotel is new, well maintained and clean. However, there was a constant "humming" sound I could hear in the hallway, some time during my stay. Not sure if it was the elevator or a generator somewhere in the building. It was not enough to bother me, as I sleep very deeply. Restaurant was good and overall experience was pleasant. "Warm welcome, clean room and bathroom, AC worked great, breakfast had a large assortment of fresh fruit, cake, meat, breads etc. There is a nice patio off the bar to relax outside. Everything I needed and very warm people serving at the bar and breakfast. Great stay."

"The property was great but Hotels.com did not honor the rate posted on the app and I ended up paying 30% higher than if I would have booked at the hotel. I tried to get reimbursement from a Hotels.com agent but they said they could do nothing about it. Even what I prepaid to breakfast wa much higher tjan the hotel directly. The property and employees at the hotel were very good. Good Athena hotel was great but my experience with Hotels.com made it not worth it"

No ice machines but can deliver to you upon request as well as slippers, , shower caps, lotions, etc. they have a coffee and water bottle station next to restaurant but out of order most of the time. "The location is good, close to the train station and yet is quiet. There are many eating places on the Main Street close to the hotel. Overall we have enjoyed our stay. Will stay here again next time when in Bologna. "
