"I run a hospitality business, so I thought long and hard before leaving even the slightest negative feedback for this hotel. It still deserved a 4, but could so easily have been a 5. The location is superb, can’t fault that. Period building, really well presented, superb artwork, great décor, very French in character. "Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Tea and Expresso, complimentary water and sparkling water."

"Nice hotel, great location for concerts/events. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast not bad but some of the cooked stuff had been hanging around a while. Bit noisy late at night from local night club but still managed to get to sleep.Extractor fan not working in bathroom, reported on that when leaving. Hopefully it has been repaired by now. No liners in bins - a small but important issue. Pretty good value for money, booked sometime in advance. "

"Beautiful room- clearly recently been redecorated, very comfortable. Swimming pool and jacuzzi very nice. Breakfast was good until I was served a gluten free sausage- raw in the middle! I was offered another but declined as I had already eaten the rest- I also didn’t want to risk food poisoning from raw pork."
