"Such a lovely stay with the added personal touch from all staff. The house is beautiful and Sean gave us a tour around with great knowledge of the history. We were able to order from either bar menu or restaurant menu and food was amazing. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails after dinner in the small cosy bar were Valerie was very attentive. "Family of 4, girls enjoyed the spa whilst the boys went swimming. Could do with a few more options but I believe there's plans to extend the spa area in the near future. Would recommend for a short break. Adjoining tea room serves great food during the day but no dinner service, with very nice service - highly recommended. "

"The property was freezing cold when we arrived and hadn't been prepared at all. The bedding wasn't clean, there were sheets drying over furniture, the dishwasher was full of pots, pans and crockery and the floors were dirty. The TV didn't work properly either. Worst of all, because no one had bothered to check, there was no oil in tank so we had no heating or hot water for 3.5 days of a 5 day break. Helloguest, the managing company, were absolutely useless and didn't do what any decent company...

"The apartment was very clean, modern furnishings and excellently located. Situated off a single track road and adjacent to a working farm, some passing traffic during the day time but nothing worrying. I would and will go there again but will request an upper floor room as this would suit me better for leaving the windows open at night."
