4 Star Hotels in Two Mile House, County Kildare

"The room we booked for a family as there was 3 of us (all adults). When we got to the room, it wasn’t clean, the pull out couch had dirty sheets on it & there was little pieces of candy, cereal, etc all over the bed & floor. Even if the carpet had been vacuumed, it was stained & no way could you walk on it barefoot. The bathroom had only a couple small hand towels & no toilet paper, & the lid on the tiny garbage can did not open with the foot bed al. The living room was very unfriendly looking & the skimpy furniture not comfortable. My daughter, who slept on the pull out couch, said it was the most uncomfortable bed she’s ever slept in. The kitchenette had no paper towels or dish soap & the garbage can was to skimpy, you could only put a couple of items in there. Breakfast was good, however, but probably the only good thing about this hotel."

"For the price, I would not recommend the Dunboyne. The room was a standard hotel room and had a very stiff bed. The food (both the restaurant and the breakfast buffet) were both akin to frozen food. Overall, we were expecting a “castle experience” and felt like we were at a standard 2-star hotel or motel. "

"The room was in good order and ready when we got there. Pretty far out and away but very close to train station which was convenient. Recieved some confusing instructions on how to get around. Otherwise had an excellent stay! "

"This is a great hotel in many ways- location, room size and decor, bathroom and it is quiet. There are no annoying little lights overhead for smoke alarms and the red tv light is hidden in the cabinet. Only 2 issues to make for an EXCELLENT review- there was no body/ hand lotion and the wifi was very very patchy. Otherwise, a great visit. "
