"We came to an event at the hotel: arrived early to get ready in our room, stayed overnight and enjoyed the buffet breakfast before heading home. Staff on reception were so lovely; always attentive and ready to help. The room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. During the event we attended, the food was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was good - pretty standard buffet breakfast - but the area didn’t seem to be very well stocked...

"The hotel is extremely convenient to the town and in a beautiful dominant position. Parking is easy and reasonably priced and the staff were polite and helpful. Through circumstances we didn't eat there so cannot comment in regard to food. Only adverse comments are the size of the room - we had to sidle past the bed and the untidy area visible through the window to the rear of the property. Value for money."

"My partner and I booked a suite at the Novotel for 2 days as we were visiting Sheffield to watch the World Snooker Semi Finals. The hotel could hardly be better situated for the snooker as it is a 5 minute walk from the Crucible Theatre, right next door to the Winter Gardens. The hotel suite was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were really helpful. We had a slight problem with the coffee machine in the room but a hotel manager sorted that out for us within minutes of our...

"Lovely hotel nice rooms staff really nice. There was a wedding in which did mean music until late that you can hear the booming of in the bedroom and later drunk people on corridors being loud and In car park raised voices due to too much drink. I would stay again 100% as loved the hotel but would check to ensure no functions as too noisy with music till late then drunk people that aren’t considerate of other guests "

"Stayed here overnight after visiting family in Derby , check in and out easy, friendly reception staff. Very clean accomodation , tea, coffee etc, bath with overhead shower, good thick towels the room was quiet cheap overnight at £43 pub/restaurant on site for breakfast and meals, mcdonalds 2 mins walk away. Good very clean comfortable good stay. "

"Despite a booking issue the reception desk went out of their way to find me a room as the alternative they offered/booked was extremely unsuitable for me with no car this hotel chosen for its location."

"Clean, quiet and nice for a family. Swimming pool is good, kids times appropriate. Breakfast was also full and delicious, everything you expect. The shower hose was leaking in our bathroom, but it did not make much inconvenience. Overall, very happy with our stay and would recommend the hotel. "
