I was particularly impressed with the balcony size and furnishings - it was just perfect for sitting out watching the sunrise with a coffee. "This was my third stay at Cesar Lanzarote in three years, and this stay, likes the others, did not disappoint. The hotel is in such a lovely quite setting, and all of the guests have plenty of space to do what they would like to do, despite the hotel itself not having that may rooms. All of the staff are charming, and it is so nice that some of them remembered me from last year, including the general manager, who was so warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back."

Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa – Adults only (+18)

8/10 Good

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The all inclusive premium was great and offered a really good selection of popular drinks and nice food options. Our room was lovely and we really enjoyed the swim up pool but some areas felt like were getting tired and floor tiles were starting to crack in places. We really enjoyed the different restaurants, Oceana especially, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We really enjoyed Portofino’s breakfast options but felt we were let down during evening service a couple of times and had to follow up with drinks (food came before drinks) and deserts were missed after ordering. It did feel like some restaurants and bars (with our stay being at the beginning October) were running on lower staff numbers, the waiters and waitresses on hand were doing a lot of running around and working exceptionally hard but we couldn’t help but think another 1 or 2 members of staff in each area would really help the existing staff and guests have a better experience. We enjoyed the spa but only visited once due it to being an additional charge to the all inclusive premium. We made use of the padel court and gym (at no extra cost) which were great. Location was lovely too for coastal walks / running and easy access to the port."

"Great first impression, lobby is beautifully presented and smells lovely, check in nice and relaxed with seats and drinks! Room was fantastic, very spacious, great sea view (especially at sunrise!), comfy and large bed, clever and well thought out controls. Breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, lots of options every night with different themes giving plenty of variety, and always some plain options for picky eaters Pool and bar/grill area was great, with more tasty food and gorgeous views over the beach. Hydrothermal circuit in the spa was lovely and relaxing, we particularly liked the recommended order to help those less experienced get the most benefit, and the pool had so many different features that gave massage-like experiences. All staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and spoke good english"
