"When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have a room for me due to construction closing down 2 of their floors. They magically found a room after i was googling new options in their lobby for 10 minutes. The room they gave me was 85 degrees and it couldn’t be adjusted. There were bugs in the bathroom and stains on the walls. The elevator worked 25% of their time. Disaster."

"Visiting family in greater ROC area, so selected this unit based on pictures and location.Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive - even checking in with us prior to our arrival.The unit was very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Bed/bedding/bath towels were good quality and comfortable.Good location- just a minute or two from coffee and restaurants. Check-in and out instructions were simple and clear. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The hotel and staff were wonderful! We planned a trip to The Strong Museum which is literally right next door. It was all by 1 minute walk, best location to visit this museum - specially with small children. The breakfast options were good and food was delicious, something for everyone."

"4 Alvin Place was the perfect home base for our trip to Rochester. There were five of us who stayed, and it felt cozy and spacious at the same time. The check in process was flawless, and we were not burdened with a bunch of chores to do upon check out. Timothy, the host, was responsive and took care of everything. The house was clean, and the kitchen was very well appointed. Random, but the water pressure was incredible as well. We all were very happy with this house, and would recommend it to others!"
