Also its lower level entry is super convenient to arrival from the train station, literally across an uncrowded Market Street. Wonderful rooms with sunlight, tastefully appointed. The timely limited access will soon be fixed by a second elevator being installed in the hotel. The staff was always helpful (though the laundry lost two of my dress shirts). "The hotel was comfortable, clean and close to the airport. It was a short walk to the terminal and the number 100 bus into Edinburgh stopped almost outside, which was handy. We stayed two nights and made the mistake of eating breakfast at the hotel the first morning, but I wouldn't recommend it. ..."
