The hotel is generally good. The hallways smelled bad, and the breakfast was very basic—the next day there wasn't even any juice, just coffee, bread, waffles, and milk, so don't expect much from the breakfast... The bathroom was dirty, specifically the shower walls... I would only stay at this hotel again if I had no other option. Polite cleaning staff; reception staff are not pleasant. Parking ok

Very updated building with high quality room furnishings. Sufficient breakfast and even a workout room. Reliable WiFi, and even a freezer/fridge with separate compartments. Very roomy. Unfortunately also - despite requesting a 2nd floor smoke-free room - penetrating smell of smoke during the night. There is no excuse for this - hotels can restrict (outdoor) smoking areas and enforce them; I asked the staff upon check-in and their stance was "we cannot control what people do outdoors" - this is frankly not true and other hotels CAN control this. Guests can deal with noise by wearing earplugs, or with unwanted light with eye masks, but odors cannot be mitigated. The management is sadly missing a huge opportunity with a great property in a good location and will likely squander the fruits of their recent renovations. I will not stay here again.

I know you get what you pay for however my room was not very clean. Crumbs were on the floor and half of the lights didn't work. Luckily it was a nice day and I was on the 2nd floor so I opened my blinds. The light / fan fixture in the bathroom was missing it's cover, exposing the wires and bulb and the spa tub looked like it was there since the 1970's. The finish was worn out and the jets did not look very clean. Needless to say I didn't use it! I didn't stay for breakfast so I can't review that however it did smell good.

Second time staying here. Not sure we will stay here again though. Good parts- nice staff, comfortable bed, close to restaurants if you wanted to walk. Not so good parts- desk chair was disgustingly dirty (pic included), bathtub was questionable as well, not comfortable with front desk staff saying room numbers out loud.
