"Gorgeous ski resort that is amazing in the summer! Beautiful views, fun Tram ride to great viewing areas. Several restaurants. Definitely could use more gluten free options at every restaurant. I settled for GF pasta last night, and tomato soup tonight! "

"We picked this place because they had a shuttle and the rental car would be closed when we got there-unfortunatelly our flights got moved up and we didnt have a car for about 18 hours. The place is not modern, but don't let that deter you-it was very clean, we felt safe. It is in a rundown area-but to be honest most of anchorage seems run down. The breakfast was great (especially without a vehicle-it was eggs, potatoes, sausage, muffins, cereal, etc.). The shuttle driver was very nice and took us to a place for dinner and shopping and back to get our car when it was ready. "

"I was worried about this property with some of the reviews, but found it to be more than adequate. The room was clean and spacious; but dated. The breakfast was good and plentiful, but mostly all carbs. They have a single cup coffee maker in room. The area around the hotel is very walkable with plenty of dining options."

"We had a lovely, clean double queen room. Building was clean but appeared to be getting some renovations. We enjoyed meals in both dining lodges, the campfires in the evening, a guided nature walk, a Denali climber presentation and hiking to the treehouse. This lodge has one of Alaska’s best views of Mount Denali. "

"The room was spacious, with a fridge. They have a common microwave in the lobby for all guests. They also have a guest laundry on the 4th floor which is very helpful if you have kids and are on a long vacation trip."
