"Overall the hotel was good. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast was good and location brilliant. We were put into a room equipped for those with limited mobility/disabilities. We were not told about this beforehand and the room was not as expected and we would have wanted to be aware of this at time of booking."

"We had a long weekend stay the house is lovely, in a quiet pretty location. Beds were nice and comfortable and the house is in a good location not far from Aldeburgh and the beach. My only slight complaint would be the house could do with a full clean I know you can't control spiders but there were quite a few cobwebs and spiders and crockery was chipped and needed replacing small things that can be rectified. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Thank you."

"A truly lovely house, well equipped and in an excellent location. The children loved playing in the garden and it was a short walk to the sea. Beds were comfortable as were the sofas in the sitting room ( though one child had a slight allergic reaction to the feathers in one sofa). Luckily the weather was perfect and we spent most of our time outside. Both my son and my daughter ( and their families) rated this as one of the best holidays we’ve had together. It is difficult to find a house which has good accommodation, a child friendly garden, is near to the sea and to the local park and playground. Children from age 2 to 14 all had a wonderful time."

"Whilst the property was as per the photos on-line, the lodge was clean except for several cobwebs that were quite high up, so assume the cleaner couldn’t either see them or reach. We both found the mattress in the main bedroom very soft which caused us both to have back aches, similarly the we found the sofa very uncomfortable and too low down, which you can’t tell in the photos. We love Aldebrugh and have visited many times. "
