"The hotel staff: front of house, cleaners, gardeners all provide an incredible, friendly experience. The hotel is clean, breakfast excellent (coffee less so) and it all looks fabulous too. The staff are professional, good humoured and really are the icing on a pretty terrific cake...coffee could be better....but the two magpies is literally 3 minutes walk"

"We had an excellent time staying in the Photographers House. It is a lovely Grade II listed property and was immaculate when we arrived, so clean! The little additions the hosts had made were very thoughtful and started our trip off brilliantly - dog treats, dog toys, milk, a couple of beers, chocolates…our daughter loved the colouring set and pencils provided. Really would recommend and a fantastic location to explore both the local eateries, pubs and the beach!"

"The apartment enjoys a central location in the lovely quaint coastal town of Southwold. A very comfortable, spacious flat with plenty of shops and places to eat on your doorstep. The bedrooms are on a slightly lower level to the living room and kitchen area and would benefit from some sort of coloured strip to draw your attention to this as the flooring is all one uniform colour. An accident waiting to happen! Otherwise a really nice place to stay."

"The property was as described, great location and check in was good. We appreciated the complimentary cookies but would have preferred some kitchen roll and , more importantly, a spare loo roll; there was a half roll when we arrived but no spare. Luckily I had tissues with me but it was a little inconvenient. The main problem was that despite it being in the middle of a heat wave the back bedroom window was locked with no key available and the water heater was in the same room so it was even warmer than it would have been. A fan would have made a big difference. It was a sweet property but could have been improved with a little attention to detail."
