"Really lovely and welcoming place, vaguely on the outskirts of town so it was far enough removed from busy areas and touristy bits by the beach to be spot on for me on my work trip but I suspect it was closed enough to all that if you were a tourist. Great room, very comfortable, tasty biscuits and complimentary bottled water on the dresser. Breakfast was really good. Staff were all very attentive, friendly and welcoming. "

"The location of Moorings House is beautiful- right on the bank of the river. Endless time can pass just watching the water activity. The accommodation is ideal for 6 people with a lovely spacious open plan living area. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the provision of a washing machine was much appreciated. The kitchen has everything you need maybe with the exception of a freezer. The close proximity of a pub is ideal for a short walk out for food but eating in on the decking by the river was the best!"

"Beautiful property, lovely room, and great staff. Peter was an absolute treasure on check-out, made us feel so welcome and made us feel right at home. I loved the cosy, family feeling of staying at Fritton. The noise however was too loud, and we got woken up by our neighbours leaving for breakfast. Our room (Lady Scott) is above an entrance and each time the door slammed shut the room shook, to the point it woke us up. I do feel that the sole purpose when paying to stay somewhere, sleep quality is a priority."

Ideal for large family.Prompt communications with management with issues/queriesPerfect location for beach and walks.Need to be very brave to get into the unheated pool. Would have been an advantage to use the cover and protect when not in use.Disappointed that only one of six televisions worked.Courtyard needs attention, looks neglected and needs to be more aesthetically pleasing, as does the pool area.A welcome pack would be beneficial to gain knowledge of amenities as well as online information. On arrival bins were overflowing. When reported rectified immediately. Would be an advantage to have bin collection day noted in a welcome pack in the house.However, we had a lovely relaxing stay."
