Beautiful, spotless, well provisioned property in a great location for exploring the Algarve. It's a rural property, so a car is necessary for getting around. Timely communications with the property owner and local property manager. We really enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding!!
A truly unforgettable holiday!! Carolina met us at the property, showed us around, offered advice and gave her recommendations, such a lovely, helpful and friendly woman. The villa was absolutely amazing! We stayed here as two families of 4, the villa was perfectly big enough that we didn’t get under each others feet all the time, the pool was beautiful and we loved the outdoor eating area and the fact that it was in the shade which provided a welcomed break from the sun for the kids was just what they needed!! Thanks Raul and Carolina, we loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be returning xx

Perfect Holiday Location
A fantastic two weeks at Casa Milonga, a lovely spacious and well equipped villa with lots of outdoor space and a perfect pool. Private yet with sea views and great beaches within 15mins walk. Garden is very pretty and the red Bourgainvillea frames the outdoor area providing any shade needed. Very responsive communications with the owners and Carolina does a wonderful job with all things at the property. Thank you from us all for a perfect holiday.

Private pool with ocean view
We really enjoyed our stay- the property was lovely, the gardens were great, the pool was fantastic! Our group had 7, age 2 to 68, and everyone had plenty of room and privacy. The only small issues we had were that there were a lot of flies and the dishwasher and AC in the master bedroom acted up. The property manager promptly sent someone to deal with them. This is just the sort of unavoidable issue that sometimes happens, but it didn’t detract from our stay. The flies were more puzzling/ we worked hard to keep doors and windows closed but there were an unusual amount on the porch that then kept getting in the house. They weren’t by the pool at all though, so laying by the pool continued to be the most fabulous experience. We would be happy to return and stay here, and recommend fully to future guests.

Fabulous family stay in Casa Milonga!
Everyone was thrilled to be in the beautiful villa. We laughed over home-cooked meals, made the short hike to the beach, swam together in the lovely pool surrounded by beautiful flowers and did not want to leave. Raul was a fantastic host. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!!

An amazing villa
We were a family of 10, ranging from 5 months to 70 years old. The villa was even nicer than the photos and provided us with everything that we needed. It is a spectacular home and we would go back in a heartbeat! The host and other people we dealt with who own and manage the property were fantastic, helpful and very gracious. If you want a family vacation of a lifetime, I would seriously recommend that you book this place. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did!!!

The house was very nice . The bathroom at the entrance door had an odor that should be investigated. Only one kitchen towel was provided The bathroom towels we old and they were no pool towels provided. We paided for cleaning service but we had to stripe our own beds and had to dump all our garbage before leaving or we would be charged an additional fee. The plactic shelf was broken and taped back together and feel off breaking a carton of milk.

a great house
The house was great and spacious with everything you could need. Two coffee makers and newly renovated kitchen. Pool isn't heated but it is clean and there is a perfectly situated tree for the afternoon sun. The area is quiet without any development around it. A short ride to the beach and a few restaurants. Only negative is the towels were small and thin and they didn't provide beach towels which for us coming from New York was challenging but we made do.

Fantastic outdoor area with sea views
The highlight of the villa is its location. It is on an exceptionally large plot with very little development nearby. The pool area and garden are beautiful with good quality loungers and views of the ocean in the distance. A car is a necessity to get to most places but Bengali is a pleasant 20 minute walk away along old farm tracks and Marinha Beach can be walked to also. Inside the property is spacious although the lounge is little small compared to other areas. Just one bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the other three bedrooms share two bathrooms, one of which located by the front door and is accessed through the lounge/dining area. We had a problem with the drainage from one of the bathrooms during our stay but this was rectified as quickly as possible. Marrion, the property manager, was very helpful and quick to respond to all communication. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and thank Raul for the use of his villa.

Amazing house!
We had 3 generations of family staying at Casa Milonga and it was perfect for everyone. Had everything that we needed for a self catering holiday, including Tupperware and cool boxes for picnics. The pool provided great entertainment for the children and the adults loved the sea view! Have nothing negative to say about the whole process.

Amazing!!
What a beautiful property!! We had two families with four adults and three children. The house was spacious, well appointed, and was a stunning property. The pool, gardens, outdoor eating space, and interior…all beautiful. And Raul and Marrion were so easy to interact with, and very responsive. We wish all of our VRBO experiences were this positive. We will definitely rent from Raul again.

Vacation from our vacation
Perfect location very close to Praia Marinha. Beautiful views and comfortable house and pool to come back and relax after a morning at the beach or kayaking. Relaxing time at the end of a busy trip to Portugal. Close to Faro airport as well, only about 45 min away.

Idyllic villa only 1 mile from beaches
The villa was so beautiful and far bigger than photos show. The whole family loved it, loved the pool, with plenty of space for chilling. The location was so peaceful and yet so near to everything 10 minutes away. Owner and host helpful and there if needed despite us not needing them at all during stay. I would thoroughly recommend.

A little piece of paradise
Casa Milonga is just a beautiful place to stay, it was a perfect location for our extended family holiday. The gardens and pool were very special and the location allowed us to easily access the local beauty spots with spectacular beaches within walking distance. A brilliant week in the Algarve

Magical place!
Casa Milonga gave us a fabulous family vacation! It's a big, spacious, well-laid out house in a truly special garden that's close to some of the most stunning beaches we've ever seen and lots of great restaurants only a short walk or drive away. We loved swimming and playing in the salt-water pool, exploring the countryside and relaxing in a very special spot. We hope to have the chance to come back for a return visit!

Absolute Heaven!
Our family stayed at Casa Milonga in late September after attending a wedding in Braga. It exceeded all of my expectations! The villa and the gardens are more beautiful in person than the pictures show. Everything was in bloom and the weather was perfect. We practically lived on the outdoor patio, with the gorgeous bougainvillea framing our view of the pool and the ocean! Raul gave us great suggestions for food shopping and areas of interest. We communicated regularly before we arrived. The house was so comfortable for everyone. Our grandsons loved their bedroom and all of the adults commented on the comfort and spaciousness of theirs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The barbeque on the patio was used daily. The villa is a short trip to the beaches or surrounding villages, very easy to navigate with Google maps. Enjoyed shopping at Porches Pottery and had lunch at their little cafe. Their iced coffee is the best, with a little scoop of ice cream!! All in all we had a fantastic vacation and would love to return. I highly recommend Casa Milonga!

Beautiful Benagil villa
We had a lovely week at this beautiful villa and would love to go back. We cannot fault it. The accomodation is spacious and very well equipped. The pool and outdoor areas are lovely and the extensive gardens are beautiful. A wonderful place to sit and watch the sun come up in the morning! Good BBQ too. We liked the fact that the villa is secluded and a little off the beaten track. You do need a car to access beaches, shops and attractions. All are only 5-20 minutes away by car. There are some decent local restaurants you can walk to (only one open when we were there) although its not good to walk with children as there are no pavements. The villa, pool and gardens are so lovely that we were happy to relax at home some days.

We arrived and loved the villa instantly. Plenty of space, comfortable and everything we could need. The location is beautiful and the villa is just perfect for a peaceful get away. It is however a little remote so definitely advise renting a car. We managed fine with taxis and got out and saw the lovely beaches. Although it’s remote the standard of the accommodation and the idyllic views make any holiday here a complete get away from the stresses of a busy life.

We rented Casa Milonga for 2 weeks. Loved the location and the view. Beds were comfortable and shopping and restaurants were conveniently located close by. The wide variety of birds visiting the garden was a treat. Poolside BBQs were the best! Very relaxing. Thank you to Marrion for easy check in.

Casa Milonga was the perfect setting to explore the nearby beaches and cliffs of the Algarve. The house was very comfortable for 6 couples, the outdoor terrace and pool was the perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends, read and enjoy the beautiful garden overlooking the sea.

Beautifully tranquil
We were two families, ten of us in all. We all had a wonderful holiday for two weeks. The pool area (with plenty of sun loungers) and covered veranda (with a large table and plenty of chairs) were ideal and we spent most of our time between these areas! The gardens were lovely with mature plants and old trees, a gorgeous environment. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area comfy for the kids to watch the odd movie- although, would not have been able to accommodate all 10 of us. All the beds were super comfy and meant we struggled to get our teenagers to rouse themselves in the mornings! In an ideal world, we could have done with one more bathroom. The position of the villa is great with views over the sea and a 15 minute walk into Benagil across tracks through the protected countryside. The nearest restaurants were a very short walk down the road and the owner of ‘The Old Fashioned’ and his staff were very friendly. Apollonia supermarket in Lagoa was brilliant and a regular haunt during our stay! We enjoyed the surrounding area and beaches there (early starts to avoid the crowds on the beaches) a must do trip is the 1hr 15min boat trip around the caves from Benagil beach. If there are 10 of you it makes sense to charter a boat privately through them and you get a drink and snacks included for €300 (2018 prices) do book. We also enjoyed Tavira- we ate at the tres Palmieras - a local haunt, turn up early to avoid the queues and eat as much BBQ fish as you can in a refectory style setting. Our whole bill, for 10 of us including drinks came to under €100- great value and an adventure. Silves was another highlight with ancient streets and buildings, so unspoilt. Take a boat trip for the day from Vilamoura- enjoy a bbq on a beach and kayak around the caves, great fun. The Algarve is a wonderful destination and Casa Milonga the perfect base camp. Beautiful villa in a beautiful spot! Tranquil and off the beaten track- perfect!
This villa is perfect for a family including children and babies! The kitchen is well equipped, beds very comfortable and bathrooms/showers are very satisfactory. The surroundings of this villa are stunning. The pool perfect size, a little on the fresh cool side but otherwise perfect after a bit of sun baving to cool off. A well built BBQ and outdoor seating area for a large family to all enjoy dinning together. We were very happy with this choice of villa for our family holiday and would love to come back again! The location, although a car is recommended - there are 2 beautiful beaches within 20 min walking distances - all down hill on the way there.

70th Birthday celebration with family
We stayed at Casa Malonga for one week at the end of May/June to celebrate my 70 th birthday.The villa was all we anticipated and more.Plenty of room for all seven of us and the villa was very well equipped.The weather was chilly in the mornings and in the evening but warm and sunny late morning to early evening. Everything went very smoothly. Marrion was at the villa waiting for us when we arrived and the directions we received were easy to follow. Do be vigilant with little ones around the pool-my 2year old grandson fell in and fortunately was wearing a buoyancy aid and was non the worse for the experience. Good supermarkets are about a 15 minute drive away-try the marinated kebabs at Apalonia on the barbecue. A lovely relaxing holiday and one we all hope to experience for another birthday !

Amazing property we had a wonderfull holiday at Casa Milonga
Beautiful villa with a wonderful outlook. The magnificent gardens are a great and colourful surround to the outside areas. The pool area is really stunning and provided many hours of fun, relaxation and family gatherings!! The inside has everything you could hope for. Bedrooms are spacious and well laid out, seating areas very comfy, lots of space so you can have some "me" time if required! Down side? Only booked one week, should have booked a month!!

Excellent Family Villa
We were a family of six adults, grown up children and partners and the villa was a perfect size to spread out and have your own space. The outside space and gardens were amazing and made you feel like you had your own little bit of heaven. There was also a great BBQ which we used on several occasions, eating out until late and playing games. The gardens and flowers were beautiful and were lovingly maintained. The location of the villa means a car is essential for getting around although the beach is about 1.5km away and easy to walk/jog to. Only two of the 4 bedrooms had air conditioning and it was very hot in those bedrooms. Also could have done with more bath towels - one each for each week was a bit tight (although we did use the washing machine and facilities. Apart from that a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. We used the villa as a base to explore the Algarve and spent the other days round the pool or on the beach. The local beaches are lovely and quite select, not commercial at all which we loved. The local restaurants down at Benegil Beach were also amazing - great sea food and other selections.

Very impressive villa in a lovely part of Portugal
Spacious, clean, comfortable, luxury. We were very lucky I think in that the weather was superb for the whole of our mid-April week. Temperature around 23-25 daily, Felt very spoiled. The pool and sea temperatures were around 19, which is chilly but nice. The boat trip along the coast from Benagil is not to be missed. Very little contact with the owner or the owner's rep but little contact was required. Very smooth.

Wonderful family week away
We are a family of five with three adult boys so were looking for somewhere with a pool, close to various beaches that could provide adventure and relatively close to towns for restaurants and culture. We found the perfect place at Casa Milonga - a large villa that could easily accommodate 10 people with all the facilities to make it a very comfortable and happy stay. The pool was large enough for the family and the garden was spectacular. The nearest beach was about a 15 minute fast walk along a dirt track which had boats for hire and a couple of restaurants nearby. We did however tend to drive to other beaches which were about 10-15 minutes. The shopping was in the nearest town of Lagoa and can highly recommend a visit to Silves to see the Castle and museum. Raul was very helpful with regards directions and recommendations for the area. We had a lovely time and would happily have spent a second week there.

Wir waren über Ostern mit Freunden und Familie da und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Guter Service, gepflegtes Haus, traumhafter Garten. Und die Ausstattung des Hauses war toll. Alles was man braucht da. Auch die Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen.

A cada do Raul está localizada perto das praias, mas longe do stress. Tem uma vista maravilhosa sobre o oceano e tudo está muito cuidado seja os jardins seja o interior da casa que está decorada de forma bonita e com detalhes deliciosos. É sem dúvida uma casa a repetir e a recomendar. O Raul é super prestável e respondeu sempre de imeadiato. Aconselhamos vivamente!

Zeer fijne en leuke villa. Keurig verzorgd en alles voor handen. Matrassen zouden iets beter kunnen maar dat is het enige waar iets op aan te merken zou zijn. Met een auto toegang tot vele leuke bezienswaardigheden en leuke plaatsjes

Ein wunderbarer urlaub in einem wunderbaren haus
Dieses haus ist nur zu empfehlen.tolles, grosses haus mit einer großzügigen terasse, einem grill und meerblick. Die anlage mit pool ist sehr gepflegt. Die kommunikation mit dem gastgeber war sehr freundlich.auch die betreuung vor ort war vorbildlich. Wir kommen wieder!!!!!!!

Sehr gepflegte Hausanlage an sehr schöner Umgebung
Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig, mit grossen Schlafzimmer und Bäder. Pool und Gsrtenanlage hervorragend. Aber leider gibt es kein Stück Seife im Haus. Mussten vorab Einkauf tätigen. Bettüberwürfe sollten auch regelmässig gewaschen werden. Und leider stehen alle möglichen Utensilien im Eingang, was ich als sehr störend empfand. Wir können das Haus jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Lage perfekt Restaurant und Buchten.
