As potencial to be so good, too far from city center but quite surroundings, place stinks of mould, mould in the shower and just a bad smell all the time. Our bed sheet had steins from god knows what. For an extra 50 or 100 pounds stay at the vila gale 2 mins away. We had breakfast there everyday

It’s a little out of the way but very good location otherwise. Internet service was spotty. Ummmm not sure of breakfast as I never offered or as it was part of package. Overall it’s good place but basic and clean!

Very disappointing. Worse place we have visited
Misleading description. Cheap but no chic☹️ No facilities ie no Bar or restaurant or shop. Self catering apartment had a kettle and microwave. Hob did not work. No towels, or even dustpan and brush. Midges and mosquitoes because damp so could not sit outside ☹️

So, let's be honest! You have booked a simple room (for €36,00) and asked for kitchen.?... any place in the advertise says double room has this facilities. Double room has microwave, kettle and fridge only. We gave you the opportunity to change for a studio with kictenette (which you accepted). "Self catering apartment" has a kettle, a coffee machine, oven, microwave and induction hob. It is necessary to know how to work with induction hob, we asked you that, you said yes but apparently you didn't and you never came to us to inform that didin't work. Only when you checked-out on the 10th October morning. To late! What do you mean no towels? Towels were provided and were in the room when you checked-in. In any place is advertised bar, restaurant and shop? First time ever a guest comments such a thing... There is a lot of bad intention on your part to have been staying 2 nights in our accommodation without any complaints or observations and then to make this kind of comment which is completely false. It is completely unacceptable!

Pretty good
Great place to stay, the room had a few faults but they were fixed very quickly, and the receptionist was so lovely and helpful. Overall good experience.

Excellent service at checkin! Our shower was a hand held sprayer only. Made it difficult to wash hair etc. Very dark hall, and loud stairs even if you were tip-toeing to try to be quiet. Overall great place, a little bit quieter and out of the way of the hustle and bustle.

Nice studio, however owner has given Expedia wrong zip code meaning it took a long 2 hours to find despite being only a 10 minute walk from the station. Zip code given leads to a building site on other side of town - beware of this issue! A nice studio, however worth noting that it is a little cut off from town and requires walking down an unlit track at night. Also the site is not well lit so plenty of scope for falling down steps.

We loved the room. Breakfast was outstanding! The staff were exceptional. The beds were springy and the wifi was very spotty.

Disappointing
Hotel in nice setting, room poor standard of maintainence, very basic facilities. The TV didn't work on our arrival, despite reporting this nothing was done. Outside steps very dangerous, loose and badly lit. We were not offered choice of room when booking. spare bed just basic camp bed. No real greeting given, just taken to our room, no information given on surrounding area, transport, where to get food etc.

Funky hotel mixed experience great breakfast
Remote and hard to find; not walking friendly. Unfortunately we don't speak Portuguese and with the evening manager English was very limited. So we took the train to the farthest station and walked twice as much as we could have. The Lagos station is much closer. Moldy and with the smell of cats, basement room with no windows. Our first night was terrible, I told the morning manager we had to have a new room or a new hotel. "Are you in room 12?" "Let me see what I can do." They transferred us to a very nice room on the ground level with nice airflow, clean and neutral smell. The breakfast is great, way more than most places. Even eggs cooked to order.

Depois de ter feito reserva através da vossa plataforma, a dia 21 de Agosto, quando chego no dia reservado, dia 03 de Setembro, os proprietários dizem que não têm qualquer reserva!!! Depois encontraram a reserva, mas que não fazem reservas só de 1 noite!!!! Cheguei ao estabelecimento às 19h e sem sítio onde ficar, e não me disponibilizaram nada, acusando a plataforma do erro e não me ajudaram. Uma vergonha!!! É velho e são pessoas sem carácter. NÃO RECOMENDO.

kreeg een andere kamer en niet de kamer die ik geboekt heb omdat iets kapot was in de kamer. Daarna heb ik verlengd met 3 extra nachten en kreeg geen korting wegens dit probleem. Het had wat anders gekund om me te compenseren dat ik niet de kamer kreeg die ik geboekt heb

Hello, Sorry for not answer in your language! Thank you for your stay and for your comments. We just want to add to them an important comment that you probably forgot! You have reserved a double room with terrace and have been accommodated in a studio with balcony much bigger, with better conditions and more expensive and if you remenber instead paying the price for the studio you have paid the extra 3 nights with the price of the double room! Don't you think you have been compensated?

Angenehmes Hotel in Strandnähe
Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, man fühlte sich angenehm privat und und unabhängig von Essenszeiten durch die Küchenzeile. Der Pool war herrlich erfrischend und nie überfüllt und man konnte sogear zum Strand zu Fuß gehen wenn man wollte. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und auch die Gäste waren insgesamt sehr rücksichtsvoll aufeinander.

Apartamento muy recomendable
Apartamentos espaciosos, silenciosos, limpios y con buen servicio de habitaciones. Tiene también una bonita piscina. Los dos únicos peros son: uno, que no está céntrico (aunque con el coche llegabas en nada al centro) y dos, los mosquitos (había muchos mosquitos no se si por la ubicación, la temporada, la piscina, el césped...)

En la página ponía desayuno incluido y no ha sido así(entiendo que es fallo de esta página y no del hotel). Mala ubicación, lejos de todo. Olor a humedad. Insectos. Falta de limpieza y mantenimiento. Nevera ridícula. Muy oscuro de noche. Hay una chabola justo al lado de las habitaciones con vecinos poco recomendables, que hacen candelas y gritan. Mucho tendrían que mejorar para que repitiéramos.

La casa escodida
Al principio cuando llegas y sobre todo si es por la noche da miedo, el sitio es apartado y nos costo llegar.Cuando lo ves por la mañana la cosa cambia, y sobre todo si te tienen un buen desayuno, podias comer asta rebentar. Es una casa hotel, es vieja pero no esta mal con piscina,un poco alejada del centro pero ala vez tranquila, creo que para el precio esta bien yo le daria entre un 7 y un 8.

Perle zwischen Bettenburgen
Wunderschönes kleines hotel zwischen den ganzen bettenburgen. Preis Leistung war unschlagbar und es ist meiner Meinung unterbewertet. Das Frühstück war wesentlich besser als bei vielen 4 Sterne hotels während unseres Portugal Urlaubs. Einziger negativ Punkt es war schwer zu finden da es etwas abseits liegt.
