"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. "Lovely little hotel apart from being locked in, having to get out via the fire escape with luggage, and finding the hotel place shut down and locked up. Really bizarre situation, with breakfast apparently served from 8, yet not a a soul in site or contactable on phone or email. A shame as great location, friendly welcome the night before and nice room."

"This was the second time I have stayed here. Always a great Northumberland welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it is a very delightful property to visit. Definitely out of the ordinary. Breakfast is second to none using good quality ingredients - none of you rubbish cheap sausages and bacon - this is good stuff. Homemade preserves too and]] very tasteful bread. Highly recommended."
