Positives are the location, free parking and size of the rooms. However, bed was ridiculously high - I am 6’ 2’’ and struggled to get on & off. Room clean but needs a kick of paint here and there. Breakfast had a good choice but scrambled eggs were made in a microwave and many items needed to be replenished and took a while to do so. Finally, I booked for the organic credentials but apart from a few items at breakfast not really an eco theme throughout the hotel - for example, febreeze in communal toilet rather than an eco cleaner and loo rolls not from recycled paper. Overall average and a bit overpriced at £198 per room per night.

We absolutely loved our overnight stay here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely beautiful! A really good night's sleep on a comfortable bed!

Nice B&B not 5 star . enjoyed our stay it just didn't feel as luxurious as we'd hoped and had to ask for minor items for the room etc on a number of occasions

Nice hotel located in the middle of Grassmere. The room was clean, spacious with a great soaking tub and nice window views. There's a nice seating area downstairs that converts to a breakfast room in the morning. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff were all friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to do in the area.

Fantastic property in Grasmere situated right in the middle of the village, rooms excellent, spacious and the bed in room 3 was HUGE 😎 staff friendly and helpful and breakfast fantastic too, would recommend.

Very nice stay in large comfortable room.
I stayed in an executive room on the second floor. The room was large, with a huge bathroom including jacuzzi bath and shower. Plentiful hot water. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and tidy, nice carpet. Breakfast was enjoyable with lots of organic fayre. Only minor gripes, couldnt get towel rail to perform. Banging head on beams.

Great room, only thing that spoiled it was the person staying above playing dance music on the hotel supplied music system/subwoofer until past midnight and no answer from the emergency number when I tried to have someone deal with it.

Charming location right in the heart of Grasmere with good parking! Rooms were spacious and jacuzzi baths in each room are a good treat to come back to after long walks! Breakfasts were hearty and the staff were friendly and smiling despite all the extra work to do from COVID precautions. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Friendly boutique accommodation in Grasmere, very comfortable room and bed, huge bathroom with parking in front - centrally located and easy to get out on the fells. Breakfast was good - it is self service in the kitchen and then eaten in the lounge which has a range of table and sofa seating.

Excellent Organic breakfast in the morning. Location was excellent with nice pubs, restaurants and shops around. . Hot Tub in suite we had was great also
