Very nice hotel..great location, nicely furnished and spacious rooms, comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast buffet, well worth the little bit extra $ to add the buffet. Would stay here again in a return trip to Amsterdam, wouldn’t bother looking into other hotel options.

Dikker is situated right in the heart of the city, fabulous location! We loved the staff, who were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Our room, King bed overlooking the canal, was quite spacious & comfortable. The bathroom appeared to be brand new and extremely clean. Our room was refreshed daily with clean bedding, bath towels and amenities. The lounge had a coffee/espresso/etc machine 24/7 and an awesome bakery right across the street. Although not a 5 star hotel, it offered anything you would need. We really enjoyed Dikker & Thijs and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was a pleasure to stay here. Not just because of the central location, but also because of the wonderful hospitality we received from all the staff. My wife and I have travelled extensively over the last 40 years or so, and this has definitely been one of the most pleasant boutique hotels in which we have stayed. Michael

We really enjoyed our stay at Dikker & Thijs Hotel, and the view of the canal. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel was located very near the museum district and an easy walk into the city center to explore. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this lovely hotel again!

A charming, family-run, well-located property where the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Great breakfast. This is the opposite of a chain hotel experience—in the best possible way.

The hotel is well situated and easy to walk to / from. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the lounge where I could have a coffee any time. My only complaint is the odd smell in the bathroom. I wasn't able to get a clear answer if this was a hotel issue or a room issue. I would check this before returning to this hotel because in hindsight, it was pretty bad.
