The property is a short walk from the teain station. Safe and clean enough. No Guest policy makes it safer, but limits social life. You must stay sober enough to negotiate stairs. Handy community toilet on each floor next to the stairwell.

Centric and very convenient location. Location has clean beds, bathrooms, a bit small for US standards but overall good for families and couples. Again, location is top so close to shops, restaurants, red light district, channels, etc. Recommended.

We stayed at the triple room with bathroom and shower. Loved the location walking distance from everything. We stayed here before going to a festival. Beds, rooms, bathroom and shower were clean. Reception desk always open. The only down fall is the stairs, they are small and narrow. We knew this before booking, it was still a challenge of staying here again just bringing less luggage if staying on the 3rd floor.

The location is great and the value was very good. It is in an area where the partying goes on until late in the morning so perhaps be aware of that if you plan on going to bed early and need quiet.

Great location

We are a family of 5 and we booked the family room with ensuite. Everything worked and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Best thing about it was being central to the city with centraal station 12 mins walk away, and 2 mins to bars, fast food and supermarkets.

The hotel is in a good location. However I had a room on the top floor and there wasn’t an elevator. It was a bit of a workout going to and from my room, especially on check in and check out.

Perfect for a budget stay in the heart of Amsterdam. Don’t expect 5 star quality. It is what it is, a hostel. My wife and I booked a double room with private bathroom/shower for two nights. We had some noisy next door neighbours on our second night but I expected that with it being a hostel full of 10 bed rooms. It didn’t spoil our stay one bit. We booked this place due to the price and the fact it was right where we wanted to be. We were on the top floor so it’s a big climb to get to our room with no lifts, but thats Amsterdam. Tall narrow buildings. Again, it didn’t spoil our stay. The room was clean and that was all we wanted :-)

The best its location, near to everything. Very gentle staff. The worst it’s the not existence of lift which it makes very uncomfortable to handle suitcase to 5th floor ☺️

The centre of Amsterdam on a budget

This was over New Years. It is a budget hotel so frills, room service and a pleather of staff milling round pandering to your every need is not going to happen. Staff are helpful and pleasant.was there for 5 days. Keep the room tidy as there is no maid service. If you want a warm comfortable room right in the centre of Amsterdam look no further. For me it was perfect, close to the train station and the city square. Everything was in a 10 minute walk.

Great location, Friendly Staff, Dirty Floors

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful however, the room was not as clean as it should be. I even found what appeared to be some period blood on the floor in the bathroom. I did appreciate their upgrade from a twin size bed to a full size bed, fresh sheets and towels but the floors were pretty horrible. Thank goodness I had my slippers. All in all, amazing location, friendly staff, half cleaned room.

I like the room its clean but too small.. the staff was not able to answer my question via online. Staff was not responsive to my queries via online. The rooms are not sound proof as you can hear neighbours’ noise. The area was noisy too.. However, its close to the central and not too bad for a night stay

Fantastic service.

On arrival the room thay had allocated was our of service. And had given us a room on the 3rd floor. The hotel has no lift. We both have mobility issues and the owner did not want to put us on the 3rd floor. She tried to arrange a sifferent hotel with a lift at no extra chargebut eas unable to locate one. They then moved 10 people from a 1st floor room to 3 other rooms at their expence so we vould have an easier time. Totally inexpexted amd fantastic outcome to a bad situation. Very impressed. Reception staff very helpful communications where brilliant from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Property is in a very convenient location. Rooms are hot with no AC. Only one fan for a room for 5 people. Bathroom is small. Our room needed cleaning. Trash was seen in common areas. Very noisy given lots were parting outside. Will not go again.
