A nice little hotel in the Museum Quarter that was obviously recently updated. Clean and comfortable, located in a quiet area, and near many shops, bars and restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Good value and clean room

Clean and well laid out room, bathroom clean and tidy, with plenty of towels provided. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and free water refills downstairs. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and a lift for cases etc.

After reading several reviews about bed bugs, I was a bit worried about staying here. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was assigned a bed in the basement, and after checking it immediately, I found bed bugs. I went straight to reception and showed them video evidence with the current date and time, but the staff member denied that it was their room. I was eventually moved to a room on the 3rd floor, where I had no further issues. On the third day of my stay, there was also a 30-minute power cut. The hotel is only a one-minute walk from Vondelpark and is located on a street lined with luxury brands. However, there are no restaurants or supermarkets on that street—you need to walk toward Leidseplein to find any dining or grocery options. Noise was also an issue, as I could hear other guests walking up and down the corridors and loud banging during the day.
