I stayed here lots of times. It's my first option. Amazing area with bars and restaurants. Tram is just in the corner and Vondenpark is just 5 minutes walking. 10/10
Lovely old building. Really helpful and friendly staff. We're able to help with any questions or requests we had. Room could have been a little cleaner (under the beds was not cleaned)
Staff were excellent. Just be aware- Shower and tiles showed signs of years of grime and mold in grout which no amount of cleaning can get rid of. Understandable because of the age of the property. The stairs are very steep and narrow and no elevator. Very challenging with medium size suitcase and small carryon. Check in is one flight up then rooms are more flights. Our room with twin beds was very small with little space to open suitcases- little storage for two people to unpack. We needed to walk sideways to get between beds. The street is very busy- we arrived on a Friday and noise from traffic and people continued throughout the night until about 4:30 am. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as the prices seemed high for basically machine coffee and continental. There were plenty of restaurants and bakeries close by serving breakfast. All this sounds negative however location was excellent and so was the staff can’t stress that enough. If you can overlook some stuff and desire to be close to museums this hotel is adequate and rate was reasonable compared to other accommodation in the area.
The staff was super accommodating and supportive of any request I had!
The location is just 1 stop from the museum plaza so very convenient! Also there are many restaurants and shops in the area!
The hotel was okay overall. The location is very good, with easy access to the N2 tram line, which makes it extremely convenient for visiting Amsterdam. This was definitely one of the highlights of the stay

Decent hotel! We didn’t receive any towels at first, needed to go to the reception and ask. Also the glasses in the kitchen area were dirty, so we didn’t use those. Overall the room was clean at least. Very good location!
The staff members were very knowledgeable about Amsterdam and will intro discussion sites and restaurants. I had a room facing the backyard and there actually is a Neighbor’s Magnolia tree in the garden area. And it was blooming !
Great staff and lounge area. Confortable and clean beds. Affordable and in a very quiet neighborhood, but very accessible to the trams. Right between the stations and easy access to Vondelpark.
The hotel was exactly what I was looking for, walking distance to where I wanted to go, convenient to everything. It's not a fancy hotel but it's clean and safe and suited my needs.
Very cozy hotel, for us it was perfect because we needed a room for three adults. We got a room with very comfortable beds and a mini kitchen with all we needed to cook. A store nearby for food and drink supplies. We had a great time and the staff was nice and helpful, all of them but a special mention for Casper.
