The rooms are a little smaller than what we used to, and do bear in mind this is a 3 star. Room was clean, carpet had a few stains but it could have been because we were in the garden rooms. The bathroom is very small, not a great size if you are a larger than average person. That being said, it was very convenient for museums and for lots of bars and restaurants

Small room. Everything was dirty. It was freezing cold there is no heat! But the staff were friendly and it was a convenient location

I had an outside room. The walls are incredibly thin, so you hear your neighbours talking. Birds from the park also like to sing at 2am 😅. Not for light sleepers. Lots of damage in the room too. You are paying for location and that’s it.

the staff was very nice and let us store our bags before and after check in which was very convenient. the room itself was extra small and not too clean.

Uncomfortable nights
Mattresses kept slipping off bed base, making it awkward and uncomfortable. No sevice in the evening to manage antisocial behavior of other guests, which was frequent.

we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel due to seeing some bad reviews, although our room was clean, bathroom was spacious and received clean towels daily, staff were also nice. Only 20 minute walk to the centre and right next to vondel park, would defined stay again :)

Stayed here for 2 nights and could not fault the hotel at all, great location right next to the beautiful vondelpark, excellent for connecting transport into city center while also not being too far to walk. Room was very clean and had toiletries provided. Would stay here again

Lovely staff clean and comfortable rooms. .There is a kettle but no tea/ coffee so take your own if you like a cuppa. Something that isn’t clear and should be made clear is that there is a secure luggage room which is available prior to check in time and when to check out.

Need to clean or change the sheets. They still have sheets with stains on them. They need a proper supply and logistics for there movement for changing them. Owner needs to take ownership of his property and see where he can approve

Great location!
This was a great location to everything we wanted to see. A few minutes walk to food, museums and tours. The hotel was in good shape, we had an annex room and the only complaint was that the bathroom was the tiniest I have been in, ever in Europe. The days we were there were very warm, but the front desk did have fans available that made it a lot better.

Cute hotel. The double bed was larger than expected. Small room but it was expected and the closet was interesting like a hideaway space but useful. Shower had a half glass wall so be prepared to have water splashed throughout the bathroom. Hotel is located next to the beautiful Vogel Park and the hotel can arrange for bike rentals. There is also a bike rental shop only a block away. Hotel also located near a convenience market or store, train transport, restaurants, bars, river boat ride kiosk, etc. for the price offered, the hotel is excellent.

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is more of a hostel, we don’t believe it is properly advertised. The room floor was badly stained and dirty, we did not allowed our kids to take their shoes off.

We liked the location and friendly staff. It’s clean and quiet. Easy to take public transport. The room has a little tiny basin and the water came out of the shower easily. There’s no Airconditioning in the room.

No upkeep
Our room was not clean. The walls were filthy and there was a blood smear on wall which we reported and nobody came up to clean it. It was so gross that we had to clean ourselves. The electric plug cam out of wall and was dangling. The bathroom had a sewer smell. They get top euro but they put no money into upkeep of hotel.
