"Lovely hotel off the beaten track, but within short distance of Newmarket Racecourse. Booked a standard double but Daisy the very helpful Receptionist upgraded the room to a Superior King. The room was large and very clean and the bed was comfortable. As an added bonus the bathroom had a spa bath which was amazing! Breakfast was good but the afternoon tea was fantastic! Fresh sandwiches, warm scones and delicious cakes and a bottomless teapot! Did not have dinner in the restaurant and unfortunately had no time to sample the spa. Will definitely be staying again in the future. Highly recommended."
"This is a great place to stay after long UK journal for us! Relax and enjoyable! Great location for a single day visit of University of Cambridge, and next morning leaving for London Heathrow Airport since it is just 2 minutes walk to the Cambridge train station. Daily rate is very reasonable considering huge/luxury space for my family! "
"Thanks for the upgrade. The hotel is lovely - great pool and facilities.
Not much going on in the immediate vicinity but very convenient for those visiting Cambridge"
"Lovely property, clean, easy check in, excellent communication with the host. Fantastic location easy walk / cycle into town along the river Cam cycle paths, nice surroundings area."
The Holts - Charming idyllic & rural 2 bed Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."
