"Josie and Jerad are amazing host. They took care of the 5 of us by offering suggestions for dinner. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We had 2 rooms: a triple And double. These rooms were clean and smartly decorated. Though the B&B is not in the middle of a town it gives you a true Irish experience. Sheep everywhere and Jerad still does the daily animal chores :) this also was our 2nd stay and looking forward To our 3rs "

"Such a lovely stay in this cosy and immaculate 2 bedroom property! The host was so kind and friendly in person and prompt in responding to messages. Loved our stay. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. I would highly recommend staying here. Our host’s recommendation for supper from a local business across the street was delicious too! "

"The breakfast was continental, tea, toast, coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereal, pastries, yoghurt and delicious overnight oats. We do like a cooked breakfast though so this is a mark down for us. The room was beautiful and clean with tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate and mints which was a nice touch. There were small shower gels in the bathroom and a lovely rain shower. The room was lovely and warm. The other reasons for making down was that we couldn't check in until 4pm which was quite inconvenient as we couldn't freshen up after our drive and breakfast on Sunday morning finished at 9pm which we found to be very early after a night out. The location was great for walking in to Cushendall. "

"The staff were excellent. It was a very busy weekend, but they still managed to ensure they looked after me & arranged a solo dinner reservation on a busy night. "

"For the price, we expected the property to be clean and all in good order. Generally, we were disappointed with the level of cleanliness especially in the kitchen, and other items were in a state of bad repair. Upstairs had an unpleasant smell.The setting of the house was its redeeming feature, with a beautiful view."

"We LOVED staying at Shepherd’s Rest! Mary was so helpful and hospitable. She made sure that we were comfortable and had all the information needed for our stay and our activities in the area. The hut itself was very clean and comfortably accommodated 4 of us. The property and surrounding area is beautiful- photos do not do it justice. We highly recommend staying in this lovely, unique spot! "
