"Best hotel of our entire trip! Beautiful location, gorgeous immaculately clean rooms, breakfast buffet to die for and incredible spa with hot saunas, wet saunas, glacier water bucket shower and full swimming pool. All included ! Cozy lobby area with pool table and old fashion record players. Able to walk to our dinners and to several hikes in Kandersteg. Staff was amazing and Nico owner drove us in his van to pick up shipped luggage waiting at the train station. Wonderful family run hotel Would highly recommend this wonderful hotel !"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel two nights ago. Everything felt new, fresh, and exceptionally clean, with beautiful décor throughout. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Rune, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. His service was excellent, and the complimentary shuttle service was such a thoughtful and convenient touch. We also loved the stunning views of the nearby mountains, as well as the lovely sauna and large, relaxing jacuzzi. Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable stay, and we would definitely recommend this hotel 👌"

"Superbe emplacement, proche de tout, boulangerie, fromagerie, boucherie,…. Le seul désagrément était le bruit le soir : nous avons ouvert les fenêtres pour raffraîchir l’appartement mais nous entendions les vèhicules, les passants, le camion à vidange,…. Mais sinon tout était superbe et super communication avec les hôtes. Merci !"

"We got a family maisonette on the 5 floor. Wonderful views. The restaurant and bar had amazing dishes, the drinks were well made and the staff was super helpful. My kids also loved the place."

"We had a fantastic time here. The staff went above and beyond, and the on-site restaurant was a real highlight — genuinely excellent food and service that made the trip. The views are spectacular and worth the visit on their own. A couple of practical notes for future guests. The hot tub runs cooler than what we're used to in the US — I'd estimate around 90–95°F — so if you like it piping hot, just set your expectations accordingly. It's still lovely, just more of a warm soak than a hot one. Also, it's a bit of a walk from the train station. That was totally manageable in summer, but I'm honestly not sure how it would go in snow. If you're visiting in winter, I'd check with the property beforehand about whether they run a shuttle — worth verifying before you book. Internet was usable for email, did not try a video call. None of this took away from a truly great stay. We'd happily return."
