"Overall, the stay was okay, especially considering the location. However, don’t expect a modern hotel experience. The hotel is quite old, and the rooms and facilities feel dated. The doors still use traditional keys, and there is no elevator, which made carrying my luggage upstairs quite difficult. Breakfast was quite limited, with only a few options to choose from. "Staff in general were very helpful and friendly. Lovely location overlooking the loch. The cooked breakfast was very good. The spa was good, pool long enough to get a decent swim. Jacuzzi and steam room nice too. The only drawback was that the spa only has 4 cushioned loungers so many guests had nowhere to lounge and read their books on busy afternoons, and there was a bit of a scramble when a sunlounger became free. Adequate parking."
