"We enjoyed our stay and loved the location. Wished we could have stayed longer. We had our own rooms and attached bathrooms which was much appreciated. Kitchen had amenities that we needed. Google Maps does indicate that the turn off the main highway is possible but it’s not. Its alternate route through the small streets is accurate. Hope we can come back again."

"We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. The road to the cottage is about 7 minutes long and bumpy, but worth it to be in such a beautiful location. Here are some details about the cottage. In the picture shown, the Aonach cottage rental is the right half of the building. The left half is another cottage. Inside the cottage, there are two bedrooms on the first floor. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second has twin bunk beds, and upstairs there is a loft with two twin beds. Everything inside the cottage is clean and set up well. There is no wifi here at the cottage, and I didn't have any mobile service either because of the mountains. You can go to the owner's porch and use their wifi and on the road to the cottage our phones worked until we close to the cottage. It's just part of being in a beautiful place. The sheep were so much fun to watch especially when they went up the mountain. We were able to visit Glencoe, Eilean Donan Castle, Urquhart Castle, Oban, and go on a Staffa tour from this location. We enjoyed the place so much and would definitely come back and recommend in the future. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with our family."

"Despite not having the best of weather (one dry day in the week), we loved this cottage very much. It's beautifully light and airy and the best-equipped holiday place we've stayed in I think. Little touches like plenty of cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils meant that self-catering wasn't the hassle it sometimes is on holiday. Comfy beds and seating and spectacular views from pretty much every window :-).There's a little village store in Glencoe, though that's currently up for sale, and there's a Co-op 30 mins walk/less than 10 mins drive down the road for more extensive supplies. Fort William has big supermarkets and is less than 30 mins drive, with a pretty decent bus service too. And ther are of course, the mountains everywhere you look. Absolutely perfect <3"
