"We rented to see what living off the coast and into the hills would be like. The set up is great, all amenities there were well looked after and we felt we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. Very peaceful and night and great for star gazing. "We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in this property. It was very much as advertised. The property is relatively small, cozy. The location in a small village with no through traffic was a bonus. "This is such a charming place with great modern equipment and lots of love for details that made us feel really comfortable. Daniel (the host) shared many valuable hints to local restaurants and places worth visiting. We loved the tracking in the neighbourhood and the local market. "Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

"Think Ibiza chill vibes, this place is stunning. The roof top is just spectacular, and the plunge pool and real bonus. The house is very well equipped, but be aware there is no aircon, and I really struggled to sleep in the master. The views down to the sea and the rocky island are wonderful as this place is a good 10/15 mins walk straight uphill from Garachico. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and has free parking outside. I will definitely return."
