"A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting with the sound of the river when you sat on the terrace. The staff were exceptional and always ready to help with any request. The room was very comfortable, lovely big bed and superb bathroom."
"Comfortable beds and clean rooms. There was a noisy extractor fan or generator somewhere very close that ran all night. A kettle would have been better in than a fancy coffee machine."
"Excellent stay whilst attending a friends event nearby. Lovely, quirky place with bike paraphernalia dotted around. Great location near local facilities. Staff at cafe very friendly. Will definitely stay again "
"Room in an old country inn. Room fairly basic but fine for a night or two. Close enough to Exeter to be accessible. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Would stay again if in the area. "
"It is such good value for money. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are all so friendly. The rooms have everything you could possibly need, they are very clean and comfortable. "

Devon Holiday Home with large garden, hot tub, Sleeps 9. Dartmoor. England
10/10 Excellent
"Town Barton is the most plush house we've ever stayed in. The bedrooms are huge, ensuite bathrooms gorgeous and the dining room is so elegant. The flower gardens are breathtaking, and provided fresh bouquets in every room -- such a thoughtful touch! Also thoughtful was the delicious homemade layer cake awaiting us on our arrival. The hosts live next door and were available to answer questions, give recommendations, and give our grandkids an introduction to farm life. This truly is a spectacular place. "

"Had a lovely few days in this beautiful barn. It was a home from home and had everything i needed. The upstairs room is wonderful for enjoying the scenery and relaxing! Wendy was fabulously helpful in providing directions and i'd gladly comeback!"
"I had quite high hopes for this cottage and had seen it a few times before and not booked for one reason or another. I am so pleased I did. It is in a gorgeous position on a quiet lane overlooking fields and completely private and quiet. The stream at the front makes a wonderful sound and always made me happy. The gardens go around the house which is nice for exploring and we didn’t spend any time in the garden really (it was October) but the table and chairs made me think how lovely it would be to sit or eat outside in the after, drier months. The house itself is so warm and cosy and whereas the kitchen is not big and you slightly manoeuvre around the table, it was such.a lovely centre of the house and very warm thanks to the Aga. The dogs loved it. We did use the downstairs snug and sofa bed, our 16 year old son was very happy with the set up, own space and shower room and we had the three upstairs. My mum had the single which suited her well (it is small) and my daughter happy in the double. We had the big room which is a wonderful and has the comfiest (enormous) bed we had ever slept in! I loved sitting up in bed listening to the stream outside in the morning. The bathroom was down for us although the bath is a bit awkward for older, less agile, people. The only downside is the very loud creaky floorboards which we had to learn to navigate / avoid during the night and early morning because they easily make enough noise to disturb.or wake. I suspect they are tricky to fix."
