Only a 3*?!
Hotel Polo is beautiful...I can’t believe it’s only 3*! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast brought to our table and they even upgraded our room! Great location with free parking. I would 100% recommend.

Yes, would book again
Positive: super clean, great location, friendly staff, air conditioner, renewed room with good bed. Negative: parking always occupied, small towels, small shower.

Centrally located, door step from the old town.
Short stay in Ascona. Very friendly and clean. Only hickup was that we had a room on the street side and it was a bit noisy but the rest is very good. Hotel centrally located.

Matratze hart. Bettinhalt billig und nur aus Kunstfasern. Sehr unangenehm zum Schlafen. Kopfkissen dick und ebenfalls mit unangenehmer Kunstfaser gefüllt. Sehr schade. Konnte nicht schlafen darin. Kaffe gratis jedoch ohne Kafferahm :-( Sonst waere es top

- schönes Hotel mit Parkmöglichkeiten - nettes, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal - sehr sauber - Klimaanlage vorhanden - tolles und grosszügiges Morgenessen (grosse Auswahl, für jeden etwas dabei) - tolle Lage, in 5-10 Minuten ist man am See, an der Promenande, Coop 2 min Entfernung - kostenloses Upgrade, da mein Vater Geburtstag hatte, vielen Dank noch einmal!

TOP Hotel
Wir wurden vom ersten Moment unserer Ankunft überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen und fühlten uns sofort, als wären wir Stammgäste. Sowohl das Entree als auch das Zimmer übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Das Hotel hätte einen Stern mehr durchaus verdient. Lediglich der Kellner im Restaurant schien einen schlechten Tag gehabt zu haben, er kümmerte sich um die Reinigung der Tische und das Polieren der Gläser mehr als um das Wohl seiner Gäste.

Gute Lage. Unfreundlicher Empfang und auch sonst nicht eben freundlich... ein Hallo zur Begrüssung (wohl der Chefin) wäre nicht so schlimm. Sehr sauber. Gutes Frühstück. Zimmer sind hübsch, aber leider ringhörig.
