"My son and I stay here for one night every year in the summer holidays with our dog for a little get away. We love it! The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the view is incredible!"

"Room was clean, comfy and unique. Nice touch with tea, coffee facilities, and a decanter with spirits in to help yourself. Unfortunately our coffee machine didn't pierce the pod so got a cup of hot water. Was going for breakfast anyway so wasn't a great problem. Enjoyed a nice cup of tea on arrival. The floor level of shower corners could do with a better clean of the grout area or re grouting. Rest of bathroom was great."

"A tastefully developed pub with ample rooms, stylish appearance and appealing atmosphere. Dinner was a little disappointing (had the buttermilk chicken burger) which felt as if it had been pre-prepared/defrosted and reheated. May have just been an unlucky experience as generally the food reviews are very good and the breakfast was truly excellent and very fresh. Husband's burger was good. Staff very pleasant. We had a waterside suite which looked over the cricket pitch at the back so was quiet. Used it as a base to start the Thames Path walk at its source near Kemble."
