Great venue, very limited parking. Kind of remote but good for access to different hiking locations. Huge kitchen and lounge area.

Spartan but clean and great location. Excellent advice from staff. Nice kitchen space. Showers need some hooks or shelves for personal effects.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Elle. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the surrounding area. The dryer room was a great thing especially for people like me who enjoy hiking

Clean good size rooms with pretty comfortable single beds. Highly attentive staff, and great kitchen facilities. Lovely lounge to kick back in after a day in the hills. Great hostel!

I liked that the hostel was surrounded by beautiful mountains and in walking distance to a restaurant. The beds were comfortable and sheets and towels were included. Everything was clean and it had a nice kitchen area and dining area.

Hosts were great; outstanding facilities for self-catering; good locstion for Glencoe area, quiet, out if the way, in a good wsy, good parking facities. Very flexible and outstanding kitchen.

Beautiful location
Beautiful location just outside Glencoe close to multiple hiking areas and the hostel allows guests to park in the lot while hiking even after checkout time.

Please guest at Glencoe Youth Hostel.
First time staying at a hostel. Pleasantly surprised at the facility. Bed was a twin and fairly comfortable. Location was a little out in the woods, but the views were wonderful and the wifi fast. Didn't mind sharing a bathroom. They did have a female only bathroom that was clean and available. Kitchen facilities were awesome, although really didn't use them. I now wish I'd taken advantage of the breakfast service offered. The staff were exceptional. Well informed about area, friendly and efficient at check-in. Because of all of this, I will stay at another hostel in the future.

It is a lovely hostel. The staff was very helpful, supportive and friendly. You can cook your meals in the kitchen without any hassle.The dining area is very tidy, clean, comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed it. The only inconvenience was there is only one female washroom with shower together on the first floor, so you would need to go to the ground floor when it was occupied.

Dans un cadre magnifique, hôtel vieillot, une literie bonne à jeter ! Très cher pour le service proposé. 1 seule douche/WC commune à l'étage pour les femme... Grande cuisine salle à manger commune, avec frigo pour conserver sa nourriture : Intéressant pour ceux qui veulent économiser sur les repas et se faire la cuisine.

Die Küche war neu. Die Matratzen des Zimmers 6 waren allerdings so schlecht und abgenutzt das man jede Feder gespürt hat. Absolut inakzeptabel

Accès à l'hôtel très agréable via une route circulable en pleine forte. L'extérieur de l’hôstel nous rappelle un peu les chalets de montagne. La chambre pour 5 personnes est bien conçue : lit double pour un couple et lits superposés. Lavabo à l’intérieur de la chambre et sanitaires/douches à l'extérieur. En revanche, les installations pour les femmes sont un peu limitées. Uniquement 1 douche/sanitaire à l'étage... Dommage. Les espaces communs sont agréables et propices aux échanges. Bon séjour dans un espace forestier très agréable.

Hostel spartiate, arrivée 14:45, on nous demande de patienter, pas d'entrée avant 15:00. Sachez qu'il n'y a aucune chambre en suite, donc toilettes communes, même si Expédia vous annonce une chambre avec salle de bain. Déjeuner pour 5,5pounds très basique. Grande cuisine bien équipée par contre.

Prachtig gelegen hostel.
De hostel maakt op het eerste gezicht een verouderde indruk, maar is geweldig gelegen. Personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De keuken is ruim en schoon. Jammer van de midges, maar verder perfect.

Albergo comodo per le escursioni fuori Glencoe
Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. La colazione in generale non vale le 5$ che chiedono in più ma per il resto tutto ok. Personale cortese e disponibile. Siamo arrivati fuori orario di checking e non ci hanno fatto problemi.
