"Clean room. Included breakfast, which had many options. Polite staff. Easy walk to shops or restaurants down the road. Free parking. Convenient to main highway. "

"Breakfast was lovely plenty to choose from. Location was lovely. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Lovely to have the swimming pool, and leisure facilities. The only thing I would say is that it didn't have a great signal in the room."

"Had to wait 40 minutes for room, plaster fallen off from ceiling and walls in pool area, jacuzzi not working, lockers not working, water jet massager in pool not working, have to pay additional fee to watch weekend entertainment, not allowed to use facilities after checking out "

"Lovely bar area with a feature fire which made it feel cosy and homely. Their lounge is also very relaxing with beautiful views. Staff are very helpful "

"The hotel is beautiful. Really clean, quiet and spacious rooms. The main areas eg lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely. A very relaxing hotel to be in. Leisure facilities are excellent and town is in walking distance. Would highly recommend!"

"The reception staff were all lovely and super helpful. We had a minor problem with the shower and the receptionist sent the maintenance man straight away. We opted in for text alerts which was really helpful to ask questions about the restaurant, the pool etc. Unfortunately we didn’t use the pool on our first two days, then it was out of action on the final day of our trip, when we’d planned to go. But that was the only slight disappointment. The food in the Waterside Restaurant was lovely, and the service was great. We had eaten in other restaurants in the vicinity (The Courtyard and Tayside Marina) but the service in those wasn’t as good as The Waterside The cottage was clean and had everything we needed including fridge and dishwasher. We enjoyed the spacious balcony as the weather was sunny and we could sit out of an evening enjoying the peace and tranquility. We also remarked on the very well kept grounds "

"Unfortunately due to a outbreak of norovirus within the hotel we had to cut our break short. And my daughter has caught it also 😞. Up until then we were all having a lovely time. "
