"We had a lovely one night stay recently which had only one let down. The room, the breakfast and bar were all excellent but the local parking is difficult. We parked where the signs said you couldn’t park overnight and asked the reception staff should we move, they reassured us that it wasn’t enforced and was to deter camper vans. Unfortunately we came back to our car the next morning to discover a £90 fine. We would have moved the car if the hotel staff hadn’t said it would be ok and now we are out of pocket. Be careful where you park if you are driving to this hotel."

"Stayed here while we were attending a wedding close by. Staff were excellent, when we came to check in to the hotel we asked if we could get a taxi booked to go back to the wedding venue - without hesitation the lovely lady said she would take us back. We went to the bar had a drink while we were waiting and the bar man asked if we were going back to the wedding venue and we said yes he said come on ahead I will leave yous back. A lovely thing to do and we appreciated it. They defo went the extra mile. Hotel was clean, rooms were lovely. Bar had a lovely atmosphere also."
