"Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though."

The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking."

"We met Lucy at the door and she was just wonderful! Very sweet and showed us around our room and the home. Our room was clean, large, and had a giant soaker tub, and a sitting room with a view of the mountains. The food for breakfast was delicious. I had the vegetarian meal and some fruit. I would stay here again for sure."

"Brilliant. The guys who run the place were super helpful, the room was terrific. Everything worked very well. Location was great for eating and shopping in Fort William. They don't do a cooked breakfast, but the range of things available for breakfast was more than generous Highly recommended."
