Time to teach those little ones how to ski! Or maybe you'd rather go snow tubing, or ice skating, or snow shoeing! All kinds of family fun is available right here in North Carolina at Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain ski resorts!
Our house has all the amenities an extended family needs: games, multiple entertainment systems, foosball, fully stocked kitchen, high speed wifi, fireplace, and beautiful scenery.
You'll see deer for sure, and if you're lucky, you'll see bears, skunks, birds, and other animals.

Great Getaway!

Enjoyed staying at this property with family and friends. The kitchen supplies were very well stocked, good TVs, plenty of extra towels, and lots of room. We had a wonderful time and would rebook!

Family Time

A great house to spend time with family. Plenty of things to do and enough bedrooms for everyone to sleep. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We Loved seeing all the wildlife, including the deer and the bear.

Beautiful!

Everything about this house was beautiful! It has a lovely blend of comfort and beauty. It is isolated yet close to adorable towns. We brought our whole family and everyone had a great time.

Beautiful home for a cozy, family vacation!!

We stayed at this gorgeous home on Beech Mountain and had an amazing time! Our dogs loved the daily hikes, we loved the coziness of the cabin and our son REALLY loved the video games downstairs! The owner was sweet, extremely helpful and it’s nice staying in a home that you can tell has been well loved. Fantastic home and we’re so glad we found this place for our vacation!!

Family Vacation

Our Christmas family vacation was Awesome. The cabin is perfect for all ages and everyone had enough space to chill. It snowed which was an added bonus. Also the deer were amazing. We loved feeding them. Great location.

Beautiful, spacious, and comfy

We enjoyed our time at this cabin. The home was clean, spacious, and comfy. We got to see many deer around the property. My kids enjoyed playing in the play area downstairs. Definitely recommend.

Great ski vacation

Charming cabin feel with several amenities such as games and arcade machine. Close to Beech Mountain ski resort. Enjoyed the setting and seeing lots of deer. Four wheel drive recommended in winter as roads in neighborhood can be snow covered. Very well suited for our dogs. Would definitely choose it again.

Fun weekend trip!

This home is perfect for a group of 7 and a dog or more (that's all we had). The kids had a blast picking out where they were each sleeping. Between the beauty of nature and the arcade in the lowest level, this house was exactly what we needed. There was plenty of entertainment and room for all. We hope to come back to this beautiful home again. We really appreciated the perfect spot to relax and stay cool!

Family ski trip

We usually stay at a different VRBO down the road but it was booked. This was the first here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner is very responsive with any emails I sent. The teens enjoyed the game room and I enjoyed watching all the deer.

80's weekend at Beech Mountain!

Really enjoyed our traditional 80's weekend trip to Beech Mountain to visit with friends and listen to the band Cassette Rewind. Some of our Children came up from Clemson and got to enjoy the weekend with us. The house was awesome. Very accommodating. We stayed at the same house five years ago. We will keep it on our list for future trips to Beech. Thank you!

Week-long Mountain Getaway

This is a beautiful and spacious home with wonderful amenities that our friends and family enjoyed during our week-long stay in Beech Mountain. The kids particularly enjoyed the arcade, foosball table, and games and puzzles. The adults especially appreciated that the kids and adults each had spaces to relax and amuse themselves, the generous deck overlooking the woods, and the beautiful kitchen table that could fit our whole party of eight (which is not always the case in rentals). We enjoyed exploring several nearby hiking trails and parks and went on a few farther-away adventures. We saw many deer, and a couple of bears and salamanders. We'd definitely come back again!

The place is gorgeous! Literally has everything you need or want on a vacation in the mountains. The kids really liked the arcade table. My favorite was all the deer. Day and night. I could sit and watch them for hours. We had snow the first night!! So beautiful. We will be back. Thank you. The Garlands

Great Location on Beech

What a nice neighborhood and property. Deer are a-plenty, hot tub is hot and fireplace is nice. Large, well stocked kitchen. The upstairs loft gets real warm as all upstairs lofts do and the downstairs is cold so put your people that like it cooler downstairs. Very cool video game system and other gaming stuff. Great place for kids/teens. If it has been snowing, beware of an icy steep driveway. They did salt the road out front eventually but it was pretty icy when we arrived after a cold front and recent snowfall. Most of it was gone though by the time we left a few days later. Great value for all that you get. Close to Beech Mtn and not far from Blowing Rock and Sugar Mtn.

Thanksgiving Getaway

What a great cabin to spend Thanksgiving in. Our family enjoyed the location and amenities the cabin offers. The children loved the downstairs area to play. Wonderful front deck for watching the sunset. Close to Beech mountain and Banner Elk. Communication was prompt and check-in easy. Definitely will stay here again!

Weekend at Beech Mountain

What a terrific house with thoughtful property owners! We had a two families for a total group of 8, and the house was perfect. Clean throughout, well appointed kitchen, close to a hiking trail. Lovely property!

Amazing family ski vacation!

Our family of 10 stayed at this home with our dogs and had the most amazing time! The kids and adults had their own areas (you can be really loud downstairs after kid bedtime without waking them), it was perfectly cleaned, beds were comfy, had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, extra blankets for the beds OR to take out of the porch to stay warm while listening to the birds and watching the many deer. And speaking of deer, they will literally come up to the back porch. The front porch is large enough for a party and has great views! I enjoyed coffee out there every morning. The back and surrounding yard are perfect for children to explore while still being in sight for parents. But my favorite thing about this place is that I left knowing we supported an honest family. I know this because when we packed up to leave, I forgot my very valuable wedding ring and 2 wedding bands. When I realized it I called the property manager. Although it was evening, she immediately put my fears to rest and drove up the mountain to find my rings. She text me a picture of them and promised to get them delivered to me the next day. Which she did. We will definitely be returning to this property next year!

Beautiful house with plenty of room.

We had a great weekend of skiing and really enjoyed our stay in this house. The house was clean, has plenty of room and the bedrooms are nice with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are better then most we stayed in. The peaceful early morning walks with our dog on the nearby Grassy Gap Trail was my favorite part of the weekend. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles which in the past was an issue with some houses in the area we rented. The house was reasonably priced and we all hope to stay here again sometime.
