The property provides an ideal staging post for walking or cycling the Mendips or visiting local towns such as Cheddar, Wells, Clevedon, Weston, Bath and Bristol. The area is rural and is surrounded by green countryside, and looks straight onto Crook Peak, the ‘pointiest’ of the Mendips. The Tullet is suitable for those who will either walk, cycle or drive to wherever they need to go. The village of Banwell is a 15-minute walk away (2 minutes by car), from where buses can be caught to other local destinations.

I have lived at the property for over 20 years and know the neighbourhood well, and am available to help or advise whenever you need. David.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A lovely property, comfortable and very well appointed. The property had everything we could have needed. There are great views from the main living space right across the valley. The bed was very comfortable and the location gives very easy access to Cheddar, Weston-Super-Mare and other surrounding areas. There are some great dog friendly parts of the beach there which were ideal for us. The walk up and along the top of Cheddar Gorge is highly worth seeking out. There are breath taking views at the top of the cliffs, looking out towards the reservoir and beyond. If we return to this area again, we would be delighted to stay here again.
The property was lovely, clean and a great view. The steps were a bit much for us. It did not have a secure area for the dog. David was very kind and the hamper was well received. The freezer compartment had not been defrosted for a while with a little if ice build-up and it had not been checked beforehand as there were ice packs and ice lollies in there. Most of all when you pay extra for cleaning you do not expect to have to remove bedding before we left
