"The apartment was a bit difficult to find, especially in the dark. Whilst it had everything we needed it was dated and could have benefitted from a deep clean, cobwebs & mould around the windows. The windows also condensed a lot in the morning. None of the heaters worked and only two of the electric storage heaters worked. "The positives, in a very quiet location if that’s what you’re looking for. A reasonably well equipped kitchen for your most basic needs. The welcome pack was appreciated containing milk, eggs apple juice teabags and biscuits. We didn’t use the hot tub so can’t comment on that. The king size bed was fairly comfortable, the come the negatives, the pillows were terrible, disintegrating and offering no support. The large leather sofa was also in a similar dilapidated state and was again well past its best! Bathroom, I noticed by the 3rd day of our stay the water was struggling to drain after a shower, it continued to drain less and less as the week went on,so it was left soapy and slimy after we’d showered each time. I did email to report this issue. Generally the whole accom needs a deep clean and decorating to bring it back up to a reasonable standard. Even the blind on the door was broken and damaged on the bottom half. Given some attention this could be 5* accom but at the moment I would only be scoring it a 3 at best. It’s about 15 mins walk across the field to the Oyster catcher, and then another 6 or 7 mins into Rhosneiger."

"We are a family of 10 - 6 Adults and 4 children the house was amazing, very spacious and very clean, comfy beds, everything we could of wished for. We would certainly use again.The only thing that let it down, we couldn't use the bbq or pizza oven as they hadn't been cleaned and we didn't have anything to clean them. Luckily there was a spar round the corner which had disposable bbqs."

"A lovely weekend, just 10 minutes stroll to the beach and the Oystercature and 20 minutes into Rhosneigr. House was warm and cosy with everything we needed, with a shop Just 2 mins for any forgotten items. Fabulous to be able to have 2 dogs with a safe secure garden first thing in the morning/last thing at night! Owners friendly and helpful.Great meal at the Blue Olive (dog friendly), service great as was the food. Super walk around the lake and along the beaches and the sun shone. Brilliant weekend away with friends, enjoying this beautiful part of the world, clearing the head and soothing the soul."

"This house is beautiful and very spacious and is in an ideal location. For me though (who has recently had surgery) I found the stairs were too steep and with no carpet I was worried about slipping when i was just in my socks. There is also a steep step on the landing to get to the bathroom which i think should be painted a different colour as it being all painted white it could easily be misjudged especially when going to the toilet in the night. For us the only thing that lets this house down is the back garden area which is crazy paved but certainly needs a coat of paint and some general tidying up. Overall it is a lovely house but i just felt that it wasnt right for us and our needs."
