"We were a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) and overall the property suited our needs, but I think it would be crowded less comfortable at full capacity. Whilst there are plenty of bathrooms, some general maintenance and obscure film to the windows would be of benefit. One shower was not very powerful and some plugs slow to drain. I would also expect at least one loo roll provided per bathroom at check in (3 small ones are provided). Some deep cleaning and sorting of kitchen provisions would be good. As others have said we struggled to get 3 or more rings working on the hob & food stuck to the frying pan. Seating by the BBQ area was nice, but some outdoor seats directly from the kitchen would be good. Coat hooks and shoe racks in the entrance would be useful and more storage options in some bedrooms could be provided. Customer service and responses to emails and enquiries was good before and during the holiday. We also made use of the free golf passes which was easy to sort. I would stay here again, but do think the property and provisions could do with a bit of a refresh and some routine maintenance."

"Fabulous stay in this amazing property which definitely has the wow factor. We are a multi generation family of 7 with two dogs, the house is so big we all had our own space even the dogs had a secure wrap around garden to play. Such a great location with a handy Spar 1 min walk away for last minute groceries and the Oyster Catcher pub is only a 10min walk. We would move in, in a heartbeat thanks for allowing us all to enjoy a fabulous family holiday making memories to treasure x"

"Another great stay at Chelford (our 4th). Spacious bungalow with enough room for 6 adults without feeling cramped. The large conservatory with additional lounge seating and dining is a bonus, especially for multi generational groups. Loved the new bedroom layout and new tv.A drive big enough for 3 cars(plus)suits our needs as we travel from multiple locations. The property is super clean and minutes from Rhosneigr’s beaches,shops and cafes but positioned on a quiet close."

"Lovely property , very homely, kitchen has everything you need , welcoming pack of tea, sugar, coffee and biscuits ( plus milk in the fridge) , beds were so comfortable, shower great with hot water, plenty of room with two sitting areas , garden secure for small adventurous dogs , plenty of inside and outside seating , views of the sea from upstairs , close to restaurants, shops and beach less than five mins away . Robert was a fantastic host with prompt replies and on this occasion we were able to access the property ahead of time . Thank you so much Robert for a wonderful stay !! "

"This was our 3rd visit to Faraway. We love the location of the house and the layout of the interior, however, we did feel that some attention should be given to replacing the broken window blinds. There are no curtains in the en-suite bedroom and the blinds don’t fully close so letting light in . The furniture is in a good condition and there’s plenty of kitchen equipment especially pleased with the air fryer. We also raise again that there is no facility in the showers to hold shower gel and hair shampoos etc. The minor issues didn’t spoil our enjoyment but felt that they should have need addressed in the twelve months since we last visited."

"We had an enjoyable two night stay at Bryn Bach but that was more to do with where the little hideaway is situated as when we previously stayed here which was two years ago we found the place had deteriorated since then and the place was looking quite worn and tired. We got to stay on quite a good deal, but I wouldn’t have been happy if we had paid full price. The leather sofa looked extremely worn as all the padding had deteriorated in the cushions. The step to the outdoor area was coming away so it was slightly on a slant which I felt was quite dangerous. The outside was looking quite scruffy as the plants in the planters were looking like they were dying as nobody had been looking after them so we gave them a water and there were brambles coming on to the decked area from the surrounding fields as the fencing was old and they were coming through the cracks, and these brambles had large thorns on them so we cut these away as if you had knocked yourself on them they would have caused harm. The place is situated in a great area which is very peaceful and if you are into RAF Valley watching the fighter jets flying past this is a great place for that. The bed wasn’t the greatest either as whoever had done the bed before we had arrived hadn’t put the mattress protector on properly so there was bumps all over the place so the first night was very uncomfortable for the both of us until I pulled off all the sheets the next day and fixed the issue. The last time we stayed they had a different hot tub from than the Hikki tub and we preferred the other version as this Hikki tub seemed slimy like the wood had been wet for too long. The outside area is such a good space but due to it being quite neglected it wasn’t very appealing like it was the last time. We wouldn’t look to stay again as it just wasn’t as nice as the first time but if it was renovated we could have a change of heart as it really is situated in a lovely area. We would recommend Bryn Bach but only after the place has been updated."
