"We didn’t want to leave! From the minute we drove up the driveway we felt at home. Our hosts were away that day but their housesitters looked after us very well, showing us everything we needed to know and providing extra, helpful information. We were delighted to meet Simon and Carmel the following day, and their gorgeous family in due course. They are brilliant hosts and both went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. We are so grateful to them for facilitating transport to the wedding, and cutting back the walkway so we could saunter, cross country to the nearby Wells Inn, and stagger back! The large master bedroom provided much needed space for our daughter, son-in-law and 6 month old baby, and the other two bedrooms were perfectly comfortable. Very good bathroom and laundry facilities. The small kitchen, dining area and living room are made to feel much more spacious due to large bi-folding doors leading onto a paved area, large sparkling swimming pool and tranquil garden. Due to the uncharacteristically hot English summer we were able to make the most of the pool, delightful garden filled with numerous majestic trees, and tennis court. Hero, the very golden, Golden Retriever became our friend, visiting regularly. We loved this area, and really enjoyed staying on this property. It felt comfortable and relaxed. We would highly recommend to others and hope to return ourselves. Thank you Simon and Carmel.Jane & Murray"
