"This is my second stay here. Check-in and out was very quick and pleasant with no drama or delays. Thank you for that! Things have slowly improved. Bathroom still needs much work: poor paint splatter on the fixtures and paint borders are messy/sloppy, wallpaper is peeling and bubbling, bidet and exhaust fan were both not working, the top of the flat top shower fixture was very dusty (maybe need taller staff to clean) and made me sneeze several times. The liquid shower amenities were not clearly marked and the fixtures holding them together are junky and corroding with white residue. The room itself was very clean and comfortable...great job. Parking is always tight, but thankfully free. Now, the entire staff was truly excellent. Ms. Amalia from Aqua remembered my guests and me. She treated us like royalty. Soi staff was also very accommodating and friendly. Great food there. Loved The Grind staff...so friendly and welcoming and always smiling! That's the secret: make everyone feel welcome and important, no matter if they are local, military, Asian tourists or the odd visitor. The live music in the lobby was fantastic with locals and visitors feeling welcome to dance and enjoy the place. I danced by myself and everyone was so happy. The Saturday live band on 7.11.26 made sure all types of good music was offered. Excellent band. Keep this going alive and festive, Dusit, and you will always have many customers returning. I know I will be back soon for another staycation."
