Overall this property is excellent. Mattress for me a alittle soft but got used to it after a couple of days. Staff are excellent,helpful and cant do enough to be of service. Although they dont do breakfast as a option there's a excellent food wagon on their rear car park that does excellent breakfast and lunch options. Will definitely stay again in the near future

Great stay as usual. Friendly and relaxing
As usual my stay at the Escape was relaxing, from the smooth check in with friendly staff, to check out.. My only issue this week was the draft from outside was somehow getting through into my room, which meant keeping the heaters on longer than normal.

great service, clean and only thing I could say is that the parking is at the hotel but it states as a pay and display but then you register in hotel for to make it free. that could be communicated better on the website.

Overall absolutely great standard
Everything was just perfect, receptionist very helpful and thoughtful, room of equal standard, unfortunately one thing that let it down. No anti slip mat in the shower which made it quite dangerous, however receptionist used initiative and gave us floor towels to put onto the shower floor, all slip worries completely gone away.

The hotel is super comfortable, clean and the location is great. They have free parking which was a massive help: The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Had a lovely stay at escape hotel.

Great check in with free parking permit. Although i was put on the top floor and nearly at the end of the corridor and no lift, i got the excersize I needed. No AC, but a tower fan was much welcomed. TV a decent size, great overhead shower.

Great hotel.
Great hotel in a converted forner print works. Smart, stylish, clean, comdortable. Fridge and microwave oven in room. Near 2 supermarkets. Quiet despite being quite near a busy road. Easy to find. Short walk from station and town. Pleasant staff. Easy check in/out. Really cannot find fault. Will be my first choice next time in Barrow.

Fantastic place
From checking in to leave we had a great experience nothing was too much trouble. Very well located. Room was large and spacious. Clean and in good repair. Cannot fault it at all.

Like I said previously. We didn’t stay, might as well have gone into a travelodge. Only booked for the facilities but then got told there were none. Terrible. Then shoved into a pokey little room near the service entrance. Doesn’t matter how much your room is you should still be treated like a guest.

We were met by kind employees from the minute we entered the hotel, who enabled us to check in early and offered to help us carry our luggage to our rooms. The rooms were modern and spotless. If you have any queries about the region, the staff are very educated and happy to assist you. I would return without a doubt!

This looks like an old building which has been renovated, it doesn’t look too impressive from the outside but it’s REALLY REALLY NICE! Very modern rooms and facilities, I was delighted to find this hotel and will definitely use it again.

Excellent modern room, that was kept spick and span. Breakfasts available in a box for around £8:00. Some noise from the nearby idiots in souped up cars, but the hotel can't do much about that. My brief dealings with the staff were always friendly and helpful. Slighty overpriced in my opinion.

One of the better hotels in Barrow
Nice and comfortable hotel. It has a modern feel about. There is a vending machine and you can order food in but no resturant on site.Wifi is good. Have been in some hotels where it drops out but it is fine at the escape. Litterally just across the road from supermarkets and not far to walk to find something to eat.

Ok but more a guest house than hotel. No bar/ food
To be honest hotel is ok but no bar, no food makes it basically a guest house. Had to go out for dinner and area is dark, desolate and quiet. Not a hotel ...rooms were ok, nothing special. Car park is also at back and you have to walk right round the building to reception. Wouldn't book again.

I booked this room for my son as he was staying in digs and wasn't happy with them. The hotel was new, had friendly staff, very clean, modern and apparently had an excellent shower!! He says he will recommend it to anyone coming to the BAE site in future!
