Appartment was nicely equipped and cosy, pair this with regular cleaning and you get a nice experience. Only problem is beware of where you park!! There is no designated parking for guests, the only bays around are 2 hours maximim stay and traffix wardens are very active in the area.

Usless service but reasonable appartment
The heating was broken - either swealtering, even with all the windows open, or off. We were told maintainance would be around next morning at 8.00. just before 10 we complained they had not come and we were told they would sort it. Maintenance eventually called my mobile mid afternoon and said " It is like a furnace in here" and said turn it off and we will try to contact you tomorrow....! That was the las we heard of it. We complained as we left some days later. People were always nice and said they would help - but nothing happened. The apartment was small but reasonably smart. Crockery was minimal but (just) sufficient.

Holiday stop-over
Not an ideal place for a holiday as the surrounding properties looked rundown, with old furniture etc outside doors. There were blood stains on one of the towels and stains on a pillowcase. Parking was a problem as the free parking was streets away, the close parking was for 2hrs with the threat of a Council Parking Attendant checking during working hours

We deeply regret that you found the location to be unsuitable for a holiday. We are primarily a provider of accommodation to contractors working in Barrow-in-Furness and not a convenient place for exploring the Lake District and Cumbria. We are also concerned to hear about the issues you faced with the cleanliness of the towels and pillowcase. This is certainly not the standard we strive for, and we take such matters very seriously. My stay was ok, when I arrived nobody was there and I needed a code that I haven't received. Fortunately a telephone number I saw a mobile number on the door and everything was sorted over the phone. The flat was comfy but a bit old, the fridge was full of ice and the mattress I had was a bit old.

Get your head down - not much more.
Perfect for a base if staying or business locally, property seems very tired from outside, inside is only a minor improvement. Staff very welcoming and with sone investment couple very a great place.

Very good apartments.
Maritime apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is quite small but has everything in it you need. Bathroom is very clean and of good quality. The shower is big and powerful.

Very nicely furnished basic but adequate for the trip good heating and apart from a few noise neighbours and seagulls and enjoyable stay. Plenty for amenities near by too

Decent for the money
The apartment itself was good, clean and pretty comfortable, reasonable basic but what is to be expected for the price paid. One minor gripe was the parking situation, parking is not on site, you have to try and grab a space on an adjacent street, but be warned, only some streets are free, others are time limited and you will receive a ticket.

Apartment itself was very good. Everything you could need. The parking was a bit chaotic. Inside very clean the window sills were full of pigeon mess outside. We were on the top floor 4th with no lifts so not for elderly or unfit. Would stay here again tho

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in a very clean, comfortable & well equipped apartment which had been upgraded at no extra cost & accessible as requested Very straightforward & easy check in with pleasant, helpful staff Would definitely stay again & explore more of the local area & Lake District

Homely home away from home!
We drove to Lake Windermere for one day lovely scenery and lots to do including the boat trip and walking in the local area. The next day we went to Blackpool, lovely beach and atmosphere!

Great value for money
We booked a two bedroom appartmet for two couples to visit Lake District. We booked our trip quite late so Maritime provided most reasonable price (compared to anything within 1 hour of windermere and Scafell Pike). We were a bit late on the check-in due to busy roads but they were waiting for us and was no issue. Hiccup on the check-in was sorted immediately. They were responsive on emails. Great customer service, plenty of parking and great value for money.
