"Great pool. Had the best whiskey sour ever. Room had leftover biscuit and peanuts behind to that added to the character. Fabulous service until the last breakfast which felt like it was struggling with limited staff! Would definitely stay here again. "

"Nicely decorated Superior King room but on arrival it was quite chilly. There was a draught coming from the sash window and also some road noise - which I hate because I’m a light sleeper, and I’m very surprised there is no secondary glazing to stop the draught and reduce the road noise. The bathroom was nicely decorated but the tiled floor was cold underfoot - many high end hotels have underfloor heating these days but not here it seems. I did request a room change but I was told there were only ’staff’ rooms available - even though Hotels.com was showing 2 Superior King room available both before and after I’d asked !!! The breakfast room is very stylish and offered a typical choice of food. Lovely hotel but having had a recent makeover it lacked some attention to detail. I enjoyed my previous stay here, a couple of years ago, a lot more."

"I was pleasantly surprised when i arrived at this hotel. Iit overlooked the river Avon, and we could see a little waterfall from our window. The mill wheels was working just outside the dining room window. It would be lovely in the summer. The only downside was the choice for breakfast. However you get what you pay for and as a really cheap hotel it exceeded expectations and when next i go to Bath i will stay there. As a bonus it also has a toll road running into Bath which cost £1.20p cash or card. Very convenient."
