"The place was old and dated but it was clean and the close proximity to the beach and downtown shopping was nice."

"The hotel is simple yet elegant, and the decor reminds me of a castle in Disneyland, in a good way. The outdoor courtyard is a very nice place for food and drinks or just to sit and relax. They have a shuttle to take you to and from the airport, and we were able to use it to take us to dinner. Staff is very friendly and the room was very comfortable. They also have bikes for rent, so we were able to ride bikes to the Newport Bay Ecological Reserve."
