"The host gave very clear and concise directions and check-in procedures. We really enjoyed all of the restaurant suggestions in the binder. The location was center to all the activities we were going to.Unfortunately, we had to leave due to an emergency and we’re unable to write anything in the notebook. Already thinking of returning again next year and will definitely book this place again if available."

"The property is beautiful. The lake is exceptional. The dock is great. Allen was terrific The house was amazing. Lots of places to sit and great bedrooms. The only thing wrong I would say is there are no overhead lights and the floor and table lamps do not have strong enough light to read at night or play games. Bring your own 100 watt bulbs ."

"The home was very cozy and rustic at the same time. Very much enjoyed our stay. The owner does have a no-shoe policy in the house which was not any issue for us at all. The stairs to the bedrooms are wooden and fairly steep so I would recommend a grippy sock or slipper to help you grip better on the stairs so you do not slip.Inside was quiet and warm without adjusting any heat controls even through the temperature outside was down to 32ºF overnight.Everything in the house appeared clean and maintained. The concrete sidewalk does need some attention, which the host had warned us about before arriving, and has plans to update the sidewalk. The location was easy to get to, yet just outside of town and away from the traffic noise. The host had a book on the table with all to Do's/Don'ts, checkout procedures, and helpful tips which was perfect. Communication with the host was enough, but not too much. Some homes I have stayed at, the host can be over-engaging. Our host provided the right amount of communication, and was responsive when needed.If I had the option to rent this location again I would 100% stay hear again."
