"We stayed in the double basic room with shared bathroom. Room was ok nothing amazing could have done with a bit of a spruce up there was a few cracks in the plaster and the velux/skylight window didn’t shut very well and there looked to have been a previous leak on the sink the bed was comfortable and overall the room was perfectly fine for somewhere to sleep. Shared bathroom & shower was good and we had no issues which was surprising considering you share with approx 6 other rooms but toilet and shower was clean and well looked after. Staff were super helpful at check in and check out would highly recommend this as a budget hotel for Amsterdam as we paid approx £350 for 3 nights for 2 people and was perfect. Also located around 10mins walk from the nearest metro station"

"Nice but utterly soulless corporate hotel, riddled with frequent elements of terrible design. Amazing breakfast, friendly staff (genuinely really helpful with some exceptional requests), and a lovely wellness centre on the top floor (though the exchange of footbaths for any cold plunge is a tad odd). Rooms with the toilet as far as possible from the sink, the taps in such a way that you will wake your partner up in the middle of the night, the angle of the totally non-reflective windows just set so you can easily exhibit your neighbours, no chair, extremely loud air-circulation throughout the night even with the aircon off (and, in our first room, a hammering from the lift mechanism - thank you to whoever organised our switch on the 2nd night), and quite possibly the worst piece of art (Girl with a Pearl Earring ropily photoshopped onto a skater girl of different body size and skin tone, giving a freakishly chibi impression) that they seem to have ordered for every room, given it was in both the ones we saw."

"I actually loved it, I run the marathon so it was nice it’s was close and not to expensive, there’s some shops around, breakfast is good, but the front desk was bit rude. I grabbed some snacks from the bar and she asked room number and I said “I’ll pay with card” and she asked again which room number and I said “ I was going to pay with card” and she side eye me. She got pissed that I said no room charges, besides that, hotel was amazing, clean and the room is spacious."
