"Nice hotel with swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was tasty and steak in their grill bar was good as well. Perfect place if you play golf, but also nice for walking with some great views of the golf course (but you need to watch out for flying golf balls) Great for couples, probably not the best for kids as there isn't much to do for kids in there. Would recommend."

"Super two bed, two bath property in rural location. Friendly and attentive hosts who showed us all the animals in the garden which was a delight. The cottage is extremely well stocked and spotlessly clean. Recommend very highly."

"Robins Nest is an idyllic place to stay, located in East Sussex countryside, near Barcombe village. The kitchen had everything in it to be a fully functioning kitchen, and if needed, local amenities were available a short drive away should you want to eat out or food shop. The bedroom was on the ground floor, which was a bonus during this hot period as it kept cool. The upstairs had an external balcony which was a lovely place to sit and eat breakfast, whilst watching the menagerie of birds who live in the gardens (and the garden is available to use should you want to sit in the shade and enjoy the peace and quiet). And a special mention should be made of the hosts (Robin and Christine) - they are a wonderful couple, who have a lovely home and buildings to rent out. It was a pleasure to meet them. Highly recommended, a great place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities."

"There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace."

"Robin and Christine made this a truly wonderful stay in a beautiful setting, in an immaculate accommodation! I would return in a heartbeat!Robin even met me at a pub to guide me to the place when I couldn't find it (my fault).I wish I had had more time to hang with them, so much fun, so interesting, so welcoming!The situation is idyllically English: a beautiful shaded garden - with peacocks! - and a pond, bordering a field with grazing sheep and the classic, green, hilly vista.On site parking - brilliant! The accommodation itself was spotless and has everything you need for a self-catering experience, if that's what you want. Tons of closet space. I could live there.A short drive to Lewes or Brighton (my places of interest) along with many others, without the traffic.I hope to be back soon :-) Thank you both!"
