"Breakfast was amazing. The view was great. I love a rooftop, and Sky restaurant is one of my favourites when I am in Birmingham, and to have breakfast there was such a treat. The hotel is one of the best I stayed in. Definitely will come back. "

"I had a warm welcome for my 3 night stay in a private room en-suite. Location is great for St Paul’s Market, Jewellery Quarter great bus/metro kind into central BHam. Only commute issue to be aware of at night is a short underpass between Malacuna and central BHam if you’re walking in. Staff were all so helpful and friendly! Malacuna is very clean, here and there it is a bit tired looking or needs attention but it’s got everything you need and a decor that’s cheerful as well as industrial which I like. I felt very secure with all the privacy I wanted in my en-suite room."

"The hotel was clean an spacious. Close to the center of Town. I brought a few things to the attention of house keeping and they were rectified. Bed was softer than i would normally like, but the room was a good size and quiet. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. I would stay again. As would the friends I was with. "

"For the price, the hotel is in need of an upgrade. It’s not a bad stay overall, but the grand entrance sets expectations that the rest of the property doesn’t quite meet. "Quick easy check in. Friendly staff. Plenty of room in the car park when we arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday. Nice room. Quite small bathroom but adequate. Good location for resort world, NEC and train station. "
