Dear Guest, first of all please accept our apology for your experience, our hotel has just recently reopened after being closed for the past 8 months due to extensive refurbishments. Due to the current situation we had to move our opening date and were still closed when you were expected to arrive. We had arranged for an alternative accommodation for you through Hotels.com, unfortunately you never seem to have received their message and thus stood in front of closed doors. You can send us your preference in advance, but please note that this is a non-binding wish. And of course we do our best to fulfill this wish! But unfortunately, some guests disregard the smoking ban... and so it might happen that you get a non smoking room with the smell of cigarettes, although our hardworking housekeeping team did everything they could to remove the smell from the room. To improve your next stay, we highly recommend booking one of our renovated comfort rooms. They are also equipped with a coffee-tea-set and you`ll have free access to the lobby-fridge with water, juice, softdrinks and beer, unlimited. We are pretty sure, you like this room type!

You are absolutely right, the wifi was a bit slow during your stay, this only might happen in case of high occupancy and/or too many downloads. We apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding the remote control: Please contact the reception in such a case, they will help promptly and you`ll be happy ;-)

Please be assured that we are working really hard to improve the Wifi. We deeply regret that it did not work smoothly during your stay. The construction noise also surprised us a lot and had not been announced in advance. Luckily it seems to be over now! We really hope to turn your "never again" into a "will come back", and we will try our very best to offer you a much more comfy stay.

Unfortunately we cannot see in which room you stayed. But we think it was one of the standard category, right? Most of these rooms offer a double bed, some twin beds. Room size: 18 - 22 qm. Our renovated comfort rooms are a bit more spacious: 20 - 26 sqm. Maybe a good idea for your next stay?

Of course we apologize for any inconvenience, and we feel so sad when reading your horrible comments. This is not the way we want to treat our guests, and not the kind of product we want to offer. Unfortunately we cannot find out in which room you stayed, but of course we will inform the housekeeping staff. There is just one tiny aspect we cannot understand: the easiest way to improve things is to mention them immediately..., not days after your stay with no chance to optimize it...
