"I love L'Ermitage. Stayed first in 1979. It was a home from home. We are back in October and I want to come down from Santa Barbara regularly in the future. My singular and ONLY observation is that the phone in the room is grotty. Dirty and old. The one single thing g that did not fit. You asked so I am truthfully saying I wouldn't want to touch it-upgrades maybe might be a consideration. I wrote about the best hotels in the entire world for 20 years for Condé Nast in London and rate your place right up there!!"

"The Hotel is in an old building which has been renovated to a modern standard with compromise. Good location, parking available nearby at additional cost. There’s a Restaurant in the same building which served a tasty slightly different breakfast in a lovely indoor/outdoor setting. There’s also some secure luggage lockers onsite."

"This place was amazing, there was plenty of space for our kids and ourselves. All the people we came across were super friendly and helpful. There's a 711 across the street that came in handy. David the host was always very kind and welcoming.I would definitely stay here again, the price was perfect and the location was great."

"Great place and great location. The only drawback was the parking situation. We had to double park to unload our car and then ended up having to park down the street. Other than that we had a great stay! Would def book again."
